Faine?

He has ended up on IR every season. If he can stay healthy then maybe but I wouldn't give up too much for him.

he has a mean streak, the guy is tough as nails and is nasty. he can play, if he can stay healthy, with our o line coach, jeff could SHINE. he's 3 years outta Notre Dame, i've seen this kid A LOT. i thnk he would be a good pick up. if the price is low.

unless they were willing to take a conditional 2007 draft pick, i don't think that we would meet their price.

It's not like they have to get rid of him, they could always play Bentley at guard, where he was a pro-bowler for the Saints before.

i think that the Browns are doing a smart thing here.....they give him permission to seek a trade, which will make him happy, and if/when the right offer presents itself they get fair value, if not, at least they have tried to appease him and he should be a happy camper.

i responded to a similar thread like this before. i am a dolphin's fan in cleveland and i am not sure why folks want to go after browns castoffs. isn't shelton enough. the last few years, cleveland fans have been pretty upset about their team's performance and the anger has specifically centered on poor o-line play. why bring that horrible line here. last week people were talking about bringing in orlando brown, another brown's cast off. let's find someone besides faine if need be.

Is there a better Center than Faine currently on the Dolphin's roster?
I don't think so.
I was hoping that maybe we could acquire he for a LOW round pick
NEXT year, thats all.....

i just do not think that faine really is an improvement that warrants a draft pick. why give something up to make a horizontal move??

He would be a great pickup... if he could stay healthy. But if he could stay healthy, we wouldn't even be having this discussion and Bentley would not be a brown.

He was realeased by the Browns last week. So he would cost nothing.

Corey Raymer is also available. I'd pick up faine AND mCKinney as potential backups. We need to build a DEEP line.

Didn't know that he was still a Brown.

ESPN reported that they released Faine. I'll try and find the link.
