Many of the people on this board are horrible supporters. So what, we lost. Whoopti doo. Guess what, the Patriots lost today too. I bet their fans aren't throwing in the towel.

yeah i agree, fact of the matter is the phins have pissed me off a bunch of times but that's the beauty of it, and that's what makes you a fan you keep coming back. hell, don't think i hate the fact that our #1 reciever hasn't been as clutch as he should be and our first round pick looks nothing like advertised it'll all turn around. everyone in the division is tied up right now i'm not predicting super bowl but damn if i'm going to give up an 8 or 9 win season after just one loss, saban will address the loss and the problems we have and make an attempt to fix them.

Yeah, I agree,

While I am extremely pi$$ed that we lost, (which I am after any and every loss) we are still 1 and 1. As is EVERY team in the AFC east.

There's a lot of season left, 14 games, and we TIED for first place in our division. Last year this time we were all ready 2 games back!!! ;)

I think I'll wait a few more games before I pull the plug on the season :goof:

Last week we were superbowl bound this week we are going to tank this season. Huh? I know it doesn't make much sense.

It's just a very emotional group, we hate to lose and love to win. Saying these posters are horrible isn't fair. It's simply a group who love their team.

I've been on several boards and this is consistantly the best. Just like the Dolphins, we have off nights too.

Carolina is gunna be a otugh game though boys... what will people be saying if we lose 2 in a row? these fin fans on this board are overly dramatic...

Two weaknesses were exposed (Reggie Howard and the Left Tackle position) Lets see how Saban rebounds.

Well, the difference is that the Pats have been winning a lot more than losing the last 5 years...we haven't and even when we have won, we haven't always been competitive...

Ok, that last remark is not applicable to this year's team. We actually played the Jests closely, and if not for a dropped ball or two, or a more accurate pass or two, or one or two less penalties, or one or two holes for Brown and co. to run thru, we could have beaten those guys...that is what is so bad...to lose a game that was winable...(is that a word ?/)...

I think too many people drank the Kool-aid after the first win. Fact is we were a 4 win team last year, we have new coaches and new players. We will be improved this year but we will not be a contendet. Fact is, if you watch the Denver game our running game was ineffective then, we just made some big plays and turnovers. In this game we did not make those plays.
The reality check is just hard for some who got carried away. We went into an extemely hostile environment, and we gave a heck of a scrap to a playoff team. We lost. We got beat at the line of scrimmage. We did not pressure the QB, we did not get turnovers, and we did not run the ball. The same needs we had in the preseason are still there.
We have problems in the secondary, OLine, and QB.
No news there. This game just brings into focus how much more work we have to do.
But I am not down. I think we will see some good football this year.

Anyone who can't see that ________ sucks is a moron. How long will it be before Saban understands ________ is a bum and should be cut immediately. Our whole gameplan was blown by ________.

I'm tired so just insert whatever player you hate into the blanks.

Yeah we have people already calling Ronnie Brown a bust after 2 games, throwing in the towel and thinking we may never reach the playoffs, bashing the Offense to no end. Most of these fans are bull****. If you don't like to support the franchise, than don't watch football, or become a New England fan, or someother bandwagon team you losers.

well put

I never expected us to go 16-0......the good news is there are teams like the Vikings, Packers and Chargers who are 0-2.......so we lost to the Jets...it is just ONE game.....now we can go 15-1.

I think saying Ronnie Brown is a bust, is not fair. With that said, for the #2 overall pick he needs to start showing something. I know all about blocking, but it is more than that. He looks tenative and even when he is open space he is looking slow. I don;t know what the deal is, but for that high of a pick you expect more. We will see how he develops. But I understand the restlessness, however bust is a little too far.

It is more than that. He does look tenative. He had missed a few holes, but he is still a work in progress with him coming in late, it really hurt him.

I think........

He is fast, and the NFL is showing him their fast too. He is overwhelmed a little, and obviously very nervous. When you get nervous, you shake, and lose control of your body. That's why I think he is running a little slow. He'll settle down soon. He better or he'll sit.
