When do you start picking with your heart and not your brain when it comes to fin players in fantasy football? I was able to grab Ricky Williams in the 11th round and Ronnie Brown in the 4th round. I know I cant fill up my bench with fins but I sure wanted to and had to fight the urge.

W/the 1st pick in the draft "Deuces Wild" (me) takes Chad Pennington... NOT! I hear ya w/the picks last year I took Ronnie in the 2nd round (14 players) & knew it was a gamble, but it paid out untill disaster struck.

My biggest dilemma is passing on studs from our rivals in the AFC East. I passed on Brady last year in the 1st round & it screwed me. Same thing w/WR's was going to take Welker in the 6th but didn't & ofcourse he goes off. Oh well.

Go Fins!

I generally go after favourite players from round 13 in a 16 round draft. I have been lucky enough to grab Ricky in a 13th round & TGJ in a 15th round. The 1st 12 picks are purely best available & needs.

Meh if it seems logical i take him. Like today, I had the choice of Ronnie, Edgerrin, and Clinton portis.

I went with Ronnie. I could make an argument for all three players, but I'm a dolphins fan, so no argument was needed.

i agree w/ citizen but would have probably taken portis w/ ronnie's recent injury and the uncertainty of it. also ricky's looking good.

i start taking my guys from the very beginning of the draft but i try not to reach. maybe a guy is slotted a half a round or a round ahead of my preferred player, i will take my preferred player. the numbers are so different every year, you can't really trust that a guy will duplicate last years numbers. especially in touchdowns. but generally a guy has to prove it before i draft him.

i would just say go for BPA, but when you fill up your starting roster is a good time to do so,

I took ricky in the draft too.

Runningback is just a ridiculous position to predict in the first place. ANY back can have a season ending injury. It's as simple as that. As for Ronnie, I'm such a big fan of his that I simply cannot allow myself to believe his injury will stop him.
