Some top candidates who didn't interview were told they'd be equals w/Aponte/Philbin. But Dawson, Farmer, etc believed they'd answer to her

Dolphins GM candidates believe they will work under Aponte, and that's why they were turning it down, I'm told. Hickey agreed anyway.

So for the Aponte haters... have at it

Bingo. It was/is so obvious. I can't believe we have the dumbest billionaire in the world running our team....
 
Def saw the writing on the wall about this. If Ross decided that Ireland, to keep his job as GM, would need to report to Aponte (as reported) and that's why he left, then why wouldn't Ross make the same stipulation toward future GM prospects? He trusts her, and his trust just saw us select the last guy on our list not named Brian Gaine.

I hope this is enough evidence to show that **** is rotten in Miami, and it's former Parcells disciple Aponte that's reeking the most.

BTW, kudos to Aponte.
 
I can't wait to read all the posts this offseason about why the media is biased against this organization when all you have to do is look at the absolute buffoonery involved in this GM search. I'm beginning to agree with those that think this team is doomed until Ross is no longer owner.

If Abramson put it in a column, it would be different right? The media is picking on us again right?

4 guys declined the initial interview, one guy declined a second interview, and two declined the job itself but hey...none of that happened, it's just the media is out to get us with this whole Twitter thing, correct?
