Favre finishes career with......Dolphins?

hey now....I know its far fetched....and believe me Im not sure if I would like it.....but lets say Favre has 2 good years left in him....hey they have Rodgers....and with any luck...Leinert...is in their sights. Marino almost went to Minnesota...or Pittsburgh before deciding to retire....looking for a team with a shot at the Superbowl...the Packers are goin nowhere for at least 2-3 years...and Saban...next year and beyond should have the Dolphins back to competing for playoffs and beyond....the thought just popped into my mind....odds are way way against it I know....but.....

Farve played well in the monday nighter against a good Carolina Defense, so I say that hes not done yet in Green Bay and he would probably retire as a Packer than test the waters of free agency.

Odds? zero.
There is Starr and then there is Favre in Greenbay. He will retire a Packer.

that is like when dan was going to finish his career with the Vikings, or the steelers. It will not happen, he is Green Bay and will retire after this year.

Some Jets fans were throwing it around in one of their forums this week about Favre going to the Jets. I don't care what he does as long as he doesn't play long enough to break Dan's career TD record!

Favre has too much of an identity with the Packers, and they know that. They wouldn't get enough in return to make up for how much it would cost the team financially for putting Favre in another uniform.

Even if the Pack had the number 1 pick, they'd trade it for a king's ransom for some fool who's willing to overpay for Leinart. Then they'd probably end up with 4 or 5 picks in the first two rounds plus a player of need and they'd still have Rodgers, after a year or two of lessons from Favre.

Brett FAvre is likely done after this season. If he isn't, then there is no way he comes here. Saban and company are looking to get younger all over this team and specifically QB. We need a young signal caller. No more retreads - no matter how they USED to play. I want to get a QB in here that will play well for us for 10 years.
