Where have these guys been the past few weeks? They really started the season off hot but the past couple weeks they've been nonexistant. I really hope we implement them more because the Pats seem to struggle against TEs. I watched the Jets and Pats game on NFL network last week and the Jets rookie Keller had 8 catches for 80 some yards against them. When they played the Colts Clark had 4 catches for 60 some yards. Remember Fasano getting wide open and catching Ronnie's TD pass the first time we played them? Maybe we should do the same damn thing just to piss em off lol

Why have we stopped throwing to these guys lately and do you think we should go back to them more often? I certainly do especially this week.

I think one of the reasons they were getting so many catches at the beginning of the season was because Pennington wasn't very comfortable with his receivers. Now, as the season has progressed, he has good chemistry with Camarillo, Ginn and Bess and he feels more comfortable throwing to them.

I 100% percent agree with everything he said.

I agree, with that said, i would still like to see them get into the action on Sunday.

Well these guys have been protecting pennington during normal sets where we don't run the wildcat. If you notice, we run a double tight end set in most of our passing plays where we see a lot of rush(frequently from our defenders).

I agree with this. But in addition to this, I think the fins really try to be aggressive, while taking what the defense gives up. Pennington, et. al. have said this many times in interviews. If the TE's stay back for max-protect, the best they can do is pop out of the tackle box for a screen pass on the edge, or a quick hitch over the middle. Now that Ginn and Cam are much more "proven" and battle tested, we can balance this offense much more between passing to RB and RW out of the backfield, out TE's over the middle, or crossing CAM or Bess in the slots.

Depending on the weaknesses we see this week, the fins may just exploit the middle of the field right over the LB's for at least the first half. Then open up the crossing routes in front of them in the second.
