he made some great plays for us and made penny look good.
what do u all think of the guy?

I like his hands and his blocking abilities I just wish he'd get down field a little quicker! lol he looked like he was running in sand on his touch down catch!

Fasano will be a very key part to this offense this season, especially with the lack of talent at reciever. Now we know why the FO went after this chap. Overshawdowed by Witten at Dallas, he will come into his own at Miami.

hes an old fashioned TE. The fact that hes slow and a big target is the reason hes getting the passes thrown to him.

I've been saying it since week one and I'll say it again..this guy will be our franchise TE...and you're right...he doesn't get enough love....he has played very good

It worked, didn't it? And, he was behind the defender with no chance of being caught before he hit the end zone....

I think we flat out committed highway robbery when we took him from the Dallas Cowboys in the off season. I know the Boys have Witten, but I think Fasano has just as much upside, even though we probably will never utilize our TE's as much as Dallas does. I would love to see Ronnie Brown throwing some passes Fasano's way on some reverses, like he did yesterday on that TD pass. Fasano has great hands and knows how to run once he catches it, even though he is not the fastest guy around. :woot:

Fasano is a beast--old school Mark Bavaro style TE. He's another young solid player that can hopefully contribute for more years down the road.

I agree..this guy was a steal!!! Plus he got to learn behind Witten so that is also a plus and IMO makes him even better!

He did look really quick though on that quick seam he ran. That play got me real pumped up.

hey I've always said you don't need to be the fastest guy in the world to get open as a receiver.

I think he runs very crisp and solid routes. He's strong and will initiate the contact as means to create space. I really like him regardless of his slow feet.

But watching the re-play and while the play was going on I was yelling at my tv.....RUN, RUN, RUN! he was getting closed on pretty quickly!

Then I made my baby cry cuz I yelled so load at the touchdown! My wife told me to calm down a little.

I threw my baby boy up in the air a few times and he started laughing again.......being a parent is super easy I don't know what my parents were complaining about!;)

Trading for Fasano and Ayodele was a great move at the time, and is an even greater move now. The steal of the off-season and by far the best decision Parcells/Ireland have made. Fasano is a solid young TE who is going to bloom into quite the weapon in this offense. It's exciting that we finally have a decent TE.
