Now that we are set at TE and the Giants are really banged up at the position, any thoughts on a trade for Osi? I know we would have to give up more, but maybe we can make a trade and free up some cap space. Thoughts?

Let's see if we can get them to throw in Cruz too...

People complain about no having talent but everytime we add players,
people are ready to trade someone. Smdh!

We need Fasano. He's a great blocker and able receiver....he compliments the skillset of Clay/Egnew.

I would take Osi though. Big time rusher. Just don't want his huge contract if we haven't signed Wake yet.

Our cap is a real problem right now. We have picked up some talent at the TE position within the last year. Fasano is expedible. Let's free up some space and get something for him. I know Osi is not realistic for us because of our cap space, but we have a few years to wait for a real chance of winning the division, so why not try to get something for Fasano now, while we can? The guy is on the downhill. Isn't that the time to make the moves?

When you were a child and your parents said that 'they can't afford something" did you keep bugging them for it even though You knew that you could not afford it?

This is not big math, it is simple and the math says that we can't afford Osi. We can't really afford Cam Wake. Would you trade Cam Wake for Osi?

And trading away one of the best all around TEs in the NFL is not a good idea. He dropped ONE pass last season. He blocks and makes first downs and scores.

Two things, do the freaking math and the LUG talent speech. You find talent, you get talent, you coach and improve talent and then you keep the talent.

Should give them Tannehill & get David Carr.

David Carr is somthing Tannehill will never be........ A Superbowl winning Quarterback :logic:

Wow! I simply created a thread asking for thoughts on what ELSE we would need to give up along with Fasano to get Osi. Maybe you didn't read the whole post. I am well aware of our cap issues. Your LUG talent speech works both ways here. Problem is, Fasano has yet to be coached by this coaching staff and we don't even know where he stands in the coaches' minds right now. Osi has talent. If we could get him, we could coach him and then we can keep him. And to answer your sarcastic question, no, I would not trade Wake for Osi, but I would trade Fasano and a bunch of lesser named players eating up cap space for him. Sorry for posting a suggestion when you are clearly having a bad day. Go Fins!

one he is the only blocking te worth a damn on the roster. and our cap situation is awful right now
