Who is the fastest player to ever play or be drafted by the dolphins?

my guess would be mark duper up until this year's draft. now it's ted ginn jr.

Hands down it was Jerris McPhail(?). I never go this confirmed but some say he ran a 4.19 at his pro day, I read that in an athlon's the year he was drafted. That may be hard to believe but he was a legit 4.3 flat guy.

Sam Madison could fly early in his career, not sure he was the fastest but he was a lock-down corner who could cover the field.

Any discussion without the much-maligned Yatil Green is suspect. The guy was blindingly fast...until he blew his knee(s) out.

That being said...I think thje fastest Dolphin in history is currently in our camp. He's a freak of nature.

Edit to add: Yatil Green ran a 4.31 40 at the 1997 combine.

Hard to judge, many will say Ginn but I think although he is among the league's fastest there are many that overrate his speed.

On that list would be
Randall Hill
Paul warfield
Mark Duper
Kirby dar dar
Mecury Morris

Please don't bring up Green, away negative vibes away!!!

Embrace and learn from past failures. What happened with Yatil Green was nobody's fault. Period.

Sometimes...#### just happens.

I think both Jerris McPhail and Kirby Dar Dar both had blazing fast 40 times.I think McPhail was once clocked at 4.19/40 and Dar Dar was just a tad slower.

there was a larry shannon and a shannon myers. one was from lenoir-rhine? if i recall correctly...

I wasn't blaming anyone.

I was just shooing away the negative vibes. :ninja:

i don't know about 40 time but tony martin was fast in his prime i remember when we had him before sandiego had him he caught a pass at the line of scrimage and ran untouched into the endzone for a td no lateral movement just catch an run straight to the endzone that was amazing it rarely ever happens
