Favorite Dolphin Linebackers of all time?....

Worst LB move ever..... Trading the rights to Anthony Carter for Robin Sandelhein. You don't remember him? That's right. There's no reason to remember him.

Dude, you nailed the list in the first post of the thread.

Bueniconti, Offerdahl, and of course Zach. Zach's my favorite to watch because I remember less of the others because of my age. I like the way he's all over the field and his tackle style because he's undersize (hang on and drag to slow the guy down and wait for help!).

  1. Buoniconti
  2. Matheson
  3. Offerdahl
  4. Zach
  5. Duhe
  6. Seau
  7. Cox
  8. Hugh Green
  9. Swift
  10. Greenwood
And let's not forget...Eddie "Ow, My Foot!" Moore.

Not a fair assessment; that trade also netted us the pick we used to trade for Hugh Green. Sandelhein was a throwaway add-on to that deal.

It's only when you apply hindsight that the trade seems like a bad one. And Carter didn't exactly set the world on fire, either.

For that game alone, he's one of my all-time favorite fins.

I have heard Bryan Cox on some sports radio lately. I don't know the name of it. Anyway he's played for a buncha teams. Dolphins, Patriots, Saints, Bears, and the Jets I think. Anyone know which team he would like to be remembered as member of? He was one of my favorite all-time fins LB.

i remember seeing the AFC Championship Game, i should say mud bowl where AJ picked off Ken Obrian and ran them both in, AJ was the real deal

actually, that was Richard Todd of the Jets... not Ken O'Brien, who was still in college at the time.. :cooldude:

Even though I was and still am a big John Offerdahl fan, I have to go with Zack. Very rare to find a player with the amount of heart that Zack brings to the game, and even though Offerdahl was a little better talent wise, he still was not as effective as Zack has been.

Too young to remember Nick but saw alot of clips of him and he was amazing.A.J.duhe,the blackwood brothers, etc are the reason I became a dolphin fan but I gotta go with ZT.He just has so much heart and passion for the game and he brings it every Sunday.:)

ha that was a game to rember

Actually I beleive the QB in the Mud bowl, was Richard Todd, but I also thought very highly of Duhe also....shame he did not play that long.

Wasn't old enough to appreciate Duhe or see Buoniconti

Duhe was unbelievable. It is too bad his career was cut short because of injury. I still remember the 14-0 playoff win against the Jets in the rain and mud.
Duhe practically shut down the Jets offense by himself.
In typical Jets fashion the players whined afterwards about the wet, muddy field.
