You get points for obscurity...

Mine: Troy Stradford's rookie performance on MNF in 87, I think we won that game 45-3

The TD pass before the fake spike TD, James Hasty was all over Ingram and Marino hit him on a 40 yd post, picture-perfect and in stride. Hasty was beside himself.

The Mark Clayton TD catch right b-4 half in '91 during the last game of the year, winner got a WC spot. Dolphins lost the game in OT but it was still a nice, clutch catch.

the monday night miracle....

and jason taylor crying afterwards.

the spike definitely has gotta be it....

but that monday night when the JETS came back from such a huge decefit and won it... the memory of Jumbo Elliots eyes and his concentration and focus on that sprawled out catch he had in the endzone.... that almost haunts me still

that was horrible moment

The Fake Spike and sending the Jets organization into oblivion for several years following.

lol.....yeah yeah. i still hate dan marino to this day. but one thing though....that chad henne song in your sig is ridiculous bro....as a matter of fact you should probably have your smack rights revoked for writing that.

That 51-45 game in the meadowlands in 1986. One of the best games I have ever seen.. I remember my family was throwing a big birthday party for a friend at our house. I was more than happy to be in my room as a kid all alone watching that thriller on TV.. Marino at his best... I hate you Paul Lankford and William Judson.

Also that 52-14 pounding we gave the Jets at home in a season opener in the mid 90's - I was at that game. And what a wonderful day it was to be in the stands taunting the Jets fans that were there.. And boy, were the dolphins fans ever loud and relishing that onslaught. I still remember Troy Vincent's INT like yesterday.

And of course, the fake spike that ruined the Jets franchise for several years afterwards.. They had a record of something like 4-32 after that play that destroyed their psyche

I hate that Jets team and their pathetic low-class fans with a total passion..:)

Lamar Smith? I think that was his name. Running all over the colts in a playoff game back in maybe 2000 or 2001 to win it. Vanderjagt missed a game winning FG to go to OT if i remember right.

lol  You must be a big Dolphins' fan huh?

i added an avatar now so there's no more confusion......

and i do have to say that beating up on the phins won't be quite as fun without being able to look forward to taylor shedding some crocodile tears

that was a great memory, but the Colts aren't the Jets :err:

Just wait until Chad Henne executes the "fake spike volume II"

How could I forget Mark Duper's awesome finger bobble catch on a long bomb from Marino at the end of the game to seal the win.. I was at that game as well in the orange bowl.. At 1:50 into this video you can see that moment.. Wow I can still remember the vibration of the stadium it was so loud-

Now that was a great day.. I still remember my dad taking me to Tony Roma's for ribs and onion rings after that thriller in the orange bowl. That was a happy night.

Marino's last win against the Jets at the Meadowlands. It was great, first game I ever went to, even though I was well into my twenties. It was a sweet game cause it was a bit see saw in the first half but then Marino turned it on and threw for over 300 yards by the end of the game. Won it 31-20. Still have the stub for that one.

Unfortunately, I was actually at the Meadowlands for the Monday Night Miracle bs. Absolute nightmare, even though first three quarters were amazing. Such a rough game for so many reasons. Jets fans actually consoled me on the way out. Nuts.

Very simple. The 28-24 comeback win at home in 1972. It was getting late in the season and undefeated was a distinct possibility. I remember my friends and I were worried about only 2 games, home vs. Namath and at the Giants in the next to the last week.

That might have been the largest deficit of the season, 10 points at 17-7. I was nervous as hell in the north stands of the Orange Bowl. Luckily we kept it to 17-7 and not 21-7 when Namath barely missed connections in the second quarter, settling for a FG.

Miami trailed entering the 4th quarter, then pulled it out 28-24, holding Namath out at the end. It might have been the only deficit of the season, entering the 4th quarter, other than the Vikings game. I'm not positive of that. I used to remember every detail but decades later I guess it fades. We trailed 14-13 to Cleveland on a long Phipps TD pass early in the 4th quarter of the opening playoff game, but the Dolphins led 13-7 entering the 4th.
