We've all talked about our favorite moments in the Marino era (I was just reliving some of them on the Dolphins Insider portion of the Miamidolphins website--a really neat flash site)...how about discussing our favorite moments of the post-Marino era?

2000, there are quite a few. We have Damon Huard leading Miami to a come from behind victory over the Colts late, with a TD pass to Gadsden...the game winning field goal against the Patriots for the division title...but the one that sticks out in my mind (and probably everybody's) is Lamar Smith's td run in overtime for the playoff victory.

2001 was disappointing (despite the 11-5 record again)...so I'd have to say Fiedler's game winning TD run against Oakland.

2002, despite the heartbreaking finish was exciting. Some of my favorite moments were the game winning drive against the Broncos, the victory over the Raiders...but my favorite is a moment that didn't really have anything to do with the outcome of a game, it was just symbolically sweet. That was Ricky's touchdown run in week 3 against the Jets to seal a blowout victory. The game was essentially already won by that point, but being in the stands and seeing Ricky leave the Jets in the dust and seeing Jet fans scurrying for the exits almost brought tears to my eyes!

2003, I'd say the week in which Miami beat both Washington from behind and dominated Dallas to get to 8-4 (before dropping two straight).

2004, obviously....the Patriots win.

Miami Vs Denver when Mare kicked the game winner but Fiedler Gadsden and chambers all were injured pretty badly

Clock play!!!!! ruined the jets for years!!! and has not been done succesfully since i believe. Mcnabb tried it this year and got creamed!!!

Unfortunately, you're right, that game did take it's toll on the team. I always feel reluctant to list that moment because I know it may be the game that killed the season. Fiedler wasn't Montana but boy, he wasn't Ray Lucas either :/. Those weeks with Ray were hell.

How about this years come from behind victory against the Bills?

That game was like certain foods: All that was needed was a little Sage.

Exactly the win was so bittersweet

I loved that game. I sat through it in its entirety and was stunned we came back.

I really had a beef with one Dolphins fan at the bar though. We had to watch it there due to being in Orlando which has the Jags as the secondary market.

He gets disgusted in the third quarter and leaves, and he still had beers left, so he GAVE THEM TO A BILLS FAN AT THE BAR.

I was incensed.

Favorite recent memory? The day Nick Saban agreed to be head coach of the Miami Dolphins!

i think my favorite game has to be the Pats game last eyar obviously.

Another real godo game was the last game fo the 2003 season vs the jets

Yeah, I remember the emotions going through my head. My heart almost stopped when Sage came in. I thought we were done for...

However, it seemed Sage decided that if he can't play against the Browns again this year, he might as well take his anger out on the Bills. Even after the interception, Sage didn't lose composure. Say what you will about Sage, but the man has ice water flowing through his vains.

The recent Bills game will always be the best, but that Washington comeboad was pretty darn memorable as well. How about the smashing we gave to the Lions (I think) in Rick's first game with the Fins. We put up 49 I believe. From that day on I was a hardcore fan.
