Hey guys and ladies,

I have a request for a graphics guy.

My wife's Grandpa passed away today, he was a good man and the only G'pa I had ever had. I would like to see if I can get an avatar made so I show it in his honour.

Just looking for a basketball, with Thomas Kirby written inside of it and then underneath it RIP with todays date 03-14-07.

Thanks in advance if anyone can do this for me.

i am sorry to hear that, Paul. Post in the Graphics forum. Admins will cover whatever the Phindollar cost is to make the finest avatar available.

Thanks dude, there is none to be said really. He was 80, lived a good life, was able to love and be loved by all 8 of his Great Grand Kids. His last words to us were that he loved his kiddies (our boys). The sad thing is that I have lost my competition at Thanksgiving, cause man he could eat. We would give each other crap at the table about what helping we were on, and he would just laugh.

Thanks guys and this wasn't meant to turn into a sad thread just want a way to honour a great man.

The way I looked at it today Raul as one soul leaves the earth another one is on its way for you mate. That makes me very happy because if your child takes his spirit he will be blessed.

Sounds like you all will have great memories. It's always tragic when a loved one passes, but if it has to happen, this is the way to go. My paternal grandmother left in a similar fashion. It usually proves to be very therapeutic.
