It's official, Brett Favre is a ****!! Watching ESPN pregame they had a special on Favre and those fellow **** JETS. It showed Brett smacking all they're as*'s and them liking it. It also showed, if you paid attention, Brett Favre licking his fingers after the smack!! Man, no wonder they went after Brett so hard in the offseason. They've been waiting for a "face of the franshise" for so long and who better then king f*g himself!!

Can someone tell me what it is Brett is doing for the Jets that Chad couldn't? I think Brett has twice as many INt's and what 300 more yards passing? I think the Jets were dumb for getting rid of Chad and making a division rival much better....for free. Cause Brett isn't doing anything for the Jets that Chad is doing for the Fins. Favre changed the culture. He brings that carefree attitude, and most importantly brings a winner. I think Favre has been on 2-3 losing teams in his career, he has the most wins in history of all QBs.
In OT against the Pats, its 3rd and 15. NOWAY does Chad convert that. Favre though can zip the pass and give the receiver a chance. Favre gives the Jets hope, the players believe in him. Noway does Chad hit that pass Favre made today to Coles for a TD. That was a laser in between 3 defenders.
Favre brings the threat of a deep pass, he helped us change our offense to stuff Favre was successful with in the past. Like the fake handoff quick pass we been doing a lot. Chad couldn't zip the passes over the middle like Favre can. Chad also can't win us a game, he can't deliver a knock out punch. He doesn't have that attitude either, where Favre can throw a INT and forget about it and make a great throw. Chad needs to be in sync, if hes out of it he starts throwing bad passes.
Most important Chad has 11 TD passes, Favre has 20. Favre gives us the ability to score TDs instead of settling for FG like we use to do with Chad when he couldn't get it in.
Don't get me wrong, Chad is a good player. But his time was up here, he wasn't what this franchise needed. Favre is on a different level than Chad, even as a old man. As a Jets fan, I haven't had this much fun watching my team in a long time. I would never want to take back the trade, this was the best thing to happen to this team in a long time.

Personally I believe Favre's a phony and a fraud much like Doug Flutie was. How he is portrayed in the media is different than how he is. He held the Packers hostage the past few offseasons. Retired wanted to comeback and then was mad that they didn't want him? Really he's a moron if he thought they'd trade him to a division rival.

It was a good move for the Jets. I'm sure outta respect for Chad they let him go but I wonder why they wouldn't consider dealing him even for like a 7th rd pick. Get him outta the division rather than let him go to a place where it's guranteed he'd start.

I don't know about that, his ever questionable arm strength could be a problem in that position. I prefer sturdier couches myself, chad may collapse after a few bodies

I thought reports were Ted Thompson flew out because Brett said he was going to comeback. Then he changed his mind. He's playing well but I think the Packers did the right thing. Unless the Jets win the SB with him there his time with the Jets will be forgotten. Which with the way they're playing isn't out of the question.
