If Favre comes back for one more year, what do you all think the chances are that he breaks Marinos all time TDs? Marino of course has 420...i BELIEVE Favre has 396. :fire:

Also, if the sign arrington, think that will have any effect on Favre's decision?

I personally hope he retires and has no shot at getting those 24 TDs

It's possible.

He could very well do it. it won't matter though because he'll have an average year, team will not make the playoffs and will ultimately be seen as a QB that stuck around one or two years too long.

I like Dan, but I hope Favre comes back and does break the records. Favre is the most competitive QB in the league and is a champion. He deserves it just as much as Dan Marino. That would be the best way to finish his career in the NFL especially since it seems unlikely to win a Super Bowl like Elway.

Favre already has his SB. The only Dan has are his records. Personally, I hope they stick around for years to come.

He's going to break the record for most int's in a single season, don't worry

If Favre comes back, the only record he'll break is most interceptions thrown in one season.

I was gonna say the same thing! Whenever i get into the argument with my friends about marino, atleast i can say he has the records. I hope he keeps this one. Remember when they thought noone will ever be able to throw more than 48 TDs in a season. :dolphins:

If he does come back it will be only to break that record. So, if he does come back I think he will break the record. He will do what Peyton Manning did 2 years ago:mad: , and throw 1 to 3 yard TD passes:fire: , just to break it.:tantrum:

I fel you. Nothing serious, just a calf muscle or something.
How many consecutive starts has he had as of right now? Like, over 220? Heh, good luck figuring out a way to take him away from the field. He's played through injury, against the odds, etc.

The thing is Favre is my second favorite QB ever. Great competitor and plays the game with passion just like Dan did. Do I hope he breaks Dans records no. But if some is going to I hope its him. But with that being said, Peyton Manning will probally break every single one of Dan's records. He is on pace to do so.

If Favre comes back he needs 6 more regular season wins to pass Dan for the second most wins of call time. And 7 to pass John Elway. The record i think he will break for sure is attempts i think he only needs a couple 100 more, and usually a QB like Favre will attempt over 400 per season. So basically i hope he just calls it quits

I dont post very much here..but I will reply to this.

Favre wants to play, win and have fun doing it. Seeing him play thru college, he plays to win. I do honestly believe that Bret isn't gonna stay JUST to break records.

Even if the records do fall, thats what records are made for..to be broken.

I am a Marino fan AND a Favre fan also. I have been a DOLPHIN fan for at least 36 yrs.
