what do you mean wasting our future on orton ? it wouldnt cost but a 3rd and 9mil a year for orton but ive done said it would be a good ideal to bring favre in for one year until we can draft a QB next year what could it hurt if we are sinking why not atleast go down fighting ?

Just one of the many problems with that...Favre for the most part doesn't want to play but if it were an elite, legit team he'd take a look at the deal, I don't think he would look at the Dolphins in the same light as if Philly or NE had been calling him and I'm not so sure he wouldn't get outplayed by Devlin and Moore from what I'm hearing, Henne no problem b/c his heads just not in the game anymore.

You'd be turning the franchise over to orton for the next 3-5 years, that would be wasting your future on a guy who is not a winning QB.

Favre is one season removed from possibly the best in his career. Plus his consecutive start streak is snapped so no pressure to keep that going. He was injured from the start last year and now appears to not be in pain. I'd rather have orton, but I'd start favre over henne in a heartbeat.
