I think we will be destroying the East in full force next year. Well, maybe not really destroying it, but I think we should be favored to win the East title in 2006. Every team has taken a step backwards except for the Fins. We are improving! :D

Yeah, NE losing 3 out of 4 was highly unrealistic. NE losing 3 in a row, now, is nigh impossible. But I agree with you that it's a thrill and fills me with pride to see us coming together late in the year.

I agree, and I think that will be a motivational point from here out. Saban discussed the importance of establishing identity within the division and NYJ presents us with that opportunity this weekend. I think we ought to soundly trounce them such that every team feels dread, or in Saban's words, "[w]e want the other team to hate playing us".

im trying my hardest not to be homerish, even though i cant cause i dont live in florida anymore. its just so hard not to see what saban has done and not be excited. im sorry to go this far. but i just got the feeling bill b. is making one of those really deep gulping sounds. but maybe im wrong. but i just dont think i am. i just feel bb knows what saban is and i think he knows he dont measure up to saban. yeah. i know 3 superbowls but he didnt ask saban for advice for nothing.

And that's what it was always about this year for those of us who were realistic. Nice to see it happening, as it seems it should continue through the last few games. I am not hoping we don't make the playoffs of course, but I am not really fixated on that as much as how the team continues their improvement and consistency as the year winds down. Here's hoping we don't have a lapse against the Jets or Titans, and here's hoping we rise to the occasion at New England!
