The great ones are at it once again. This time in the Australian Open Finals.

Heres to Federer pulling another one out and tying Sampras with the Most Grand Slam titles.
 
I'm pulling for Fed as well as I am a huge fan of his. No excuses for him to lose this one. It's a better surface for him and Nadal has to recover from the monster match w Verdasco w less rest than Fed had.

If Nadal wins then he is clearly the man. As much as I admire Federer, you have to admire Nadal as well. The guy gives it everything and wins with class.
 
Well it is in a fifth set right now, man this is by far the best rivalry in sports right now. Forget Yankees/Red Sox . . . forget the college rivalries, forget the soccer rivalries . . . . Nadal and Federer could end up being the greatest tennis rivalry of all time when it is all said and done.

I'm actually a Rapha fan, but Fed is all class as well . . . both are real good guys, I wouldn't mind either one winning.

Now seriously, we have a legitamte contender for the Gran Slam in Tennis . . . as he probably is a lock for the French and he won Wimbledon last year.

He is clearly the #1 player in the world and I don't think I have seen Men's tennis THIS strong in a LONG TIME. We are watching a great one folks, just like we have watched Federer for the last 5+ years as the great one. I feel bad for a guy like Roddick . . . very solid player, but just not as good as these 2.
 
It's tough as a Federer fan to see him go down like that, and get so emotional at the ceremony, but you feel better about it because Nadal is not only an other worldly competitor but a great guy.

Mentally, it looked like Fed simply collapsed under the weight of the occasion in the 5th set. He may need a coach to help him get mentally tougher (i.e. looser) in those situations and to come up w the game plan to beat Nadal.
 
I'm not a Nadal fan....he is always pulling his underwear wedge out of his butt before every serve.
