I know everyone is ecstatic as we finally get to see our beloved fins back in the playoffs. I never would have guessed it after an 1-4 start. However, noticing we will be playing without our best center and safety makes me feel a little bummed as they, like Cam wake, deserve a playoff game with their teammates. I know injuries are a part of the game and I sure will cheer for them loudly than I ever have before. I do hope both of them will help this team anyway they can. Hopefully next year Jones and pouncey play in the playoffs.

Go phins!

Definitely sucks cause those guys would be GIGANTIC upgrades at the moment. Rambo is about as good as a pile of hot steamy dog ****.

Well now they will have all the motivation in the world next season. Both of those guys would be huge additions to our 2017 squad if they can play all 16 games. Jones you expect to return to form and be productive. Pouncey's future is much more in doubt, even though I have no doubt he will still be a Dolphin.

Eh. Rambo is a FS and has played well there. It's not his fault VJ makes stupid decisions to place him in the box and match routes underneath.

It does suck to see a guy like Jones, who has been one of the best players on the team, stuck on IR when we finally make the playoffs.

I'm happy Cam Wake is healthy for the playoffs, though. If anyone on this team deserves a playoff run, it's 91.

This is going to sound worse than what I mean it to be so everyone don't flip out with my next sentence or two and keep it in the proper context. But I don't feel bad at all. Last year when we were miserable late in the year and eliminated from everything these two guys were doing "hula dances" after plays to celebrate going to the pro bowl and we were down by like 2 or 3 touchdowns in a game and they were still doing it. It was so embarrassing and they looked like fools on the field. Total "me" players and putting themselves in front of the team. I hope those 2 not being a major part of this run we are on humbles them a little and opens up their eyes to thing.

For the record; I want them back next year, no I am not for trading them or anything. But I don't feel bad for them either. They both needed to be humbled a little and grow up. Maybe long-term this is the best thing for them. Shows the world that they are replaceable and we can win without them.

I disagree. Our running game was the best in the league with Pouncey at Center. Except for Buffalo, without Pouncey we've been horrible.

As for Jones, all you have to do is look at that Ravens game to see how much we miss him. For years he's made up for our weak LBers. This year we've won so many games close that could have been won comfortably if Jones was in there.

No, these guys are NOT easily replaceable.

I gotta say pouncey does not come me off that way to me at all. The respect from his teammates is telling.

When we see those players that ruin their careers because they cant stop being idiots, Pouncey is the one that actually said "oh yeah let me stop being a dumbass and focus on being a leader on this team" and it shows from the respect he gets and even just interviews. much respect for the guy.

I hope Pouncey doesn't come back. We can't afford to pay his salary for 4 or 5 games per year. He's not worth it.

It makes me happy.

How good CAN the Dolphins be is what I think about.

Depends on the next draft. Pouncey is too unreliable to be happy about.

Jones will definitely help the secondary but I still feel not having him has exposed just how bad our Safety play is and how it needs to improve. We need to find a good partner for Jones. If only we hadn't traded away that 3rd and 4th/5th round pick, we could really use it with this upcoming draft being fairly deep on defense.

Will be interesting to see if Jones skips the voluntary workouts again this offseason, and possibly more, as he enters the final year of his contract. If he sits out, after collecting $7.5m this season to be a sideline cheerleader, I will have no sympathy for him.
