Welker was one of my favorite players ever, who got to start I think at least two games this year at WR. I feel bad because he was so excited to receive 38.5 million dollars for seven years in New England, well he is getting paid less than that. Then he can think, well there is more oppurtunity in New England but with
Donte’ Stallworth
Reche Caldwell
Kelley Washington

Bam Childress
Jabar Gaffney
Chad Jackson
Kelvin Kight
Matt Shelton

on your team I think it could be challenging to stay on the roster. even though I'm certain he will get on the roster he will probably be behind Stallworth, Caldwell, and Washington, and maybe even Childress or Gaffney. I know that you are probably thinking "Wes is a 3DWR" if they have such a thing but im just saying he would get more minutes if he stayed in Miami.

They just gave up a 2nd round pick for the man. He'll be playing, even if he probably shouldn't be.

he will be the 3rd or 4th reciever
stallworth 1
Kelley Washington 2
Chad Jackson 3
wes 4
plus the PR/KR duties

you think he regrets leaving miami now that hes so quickly been pushed down the depth chart over the weekend?

Frankly, I couldn't care less how he feels. The Pats are hurting, and Wes will be released at the end of the next season.

First off, I liked Welker

But then he said playing for the Pats was what he always thought off when he was on the sidelines watching them in the field while playing for us??

Well, he got his wish and we got two picks.

hell. for 38.5 million dollas, I wouldn't mind cutting my playtime.

Feel bad for Wes? You have got to be kidding. Wes will be taking over the Troy Brown role and will get just as much playing time there as he did here.

If those WRs stay healthy, NE will have one of the best receiving corp in the NFL. But their history suggest that atleast two of them will miss time due to some type of injury. Welker is durable and smart and will thrive from the slot position with all that speed on the outside.

Even if he didn't make the team, which I highly doubt, Welker still stands to make $10 million. Why would I feel sorry for anyone making that kind of money?

I have to say that I hated the fact that he went to New England. My buddy gives me constant crap about it. But yeah, I think they picked him up souly for special teams and a foruth wide out.

yeah i feel so bad for the guy...now instead of making like 5 mil a year he'll only make a measly 2-3 mil a year, what a shame. he's where he wants to be, on the patriots sideline like he said he wished he was when he was playing for our team last year.

wes will be the #2 behind stallworth.....the guy is the only reliale WR they have....dont feel sorry for him...feel sorry for us for not making 1.8 mil/yr
