For all you homer fans that refuse to take an honest assessment of the general condition of this team...can you wait 4 years?

Assuming Miami drafts or signs a FA QB with talent, it typically takes 3-4 years for that player to develop, mature, and learn the system, and then MAYBE he'll turn out.

Steve Young
Brett Favre
Tom Brady

and others all took a few years to break in and develop...all of 'em except of course MARINO, and they just don't make those anymore.

4 years IF we hit on the next QB, if we miss, its freakin Purgatory.

Well I guess you better find another team then.

Typical Finfan. No thinking outside the box, just wanting to lie in it !!!. This team will be bad for years to come unless Nick gets a Billicheck implant and builds a team and not a collection of former pro-bowlers and first round wasted picks..

NO - I cannot wait 4 years for success. We need to win now, and that is all I accept. I pay for my season tickets to win, not to lose for 3 or 4 years, sorry that doesnt work today. Go get Car and be done with it and win next year.

What shuld our assesment be? We suck? Ok. So now are we going to immediatly be good? No, it will still take time. What do you suggest we do to be good right now? Execute? Play hard and with a sense of urgency? Do those things consistently? Oh yeah those are all the ideas that Saban has suggested to make us good right now. I want to hear your plan? And no mentioning of a magic wand, I hear they quit making those things. All we can do is try. I just don't see an alternative to trying to get better and improve our team no matter how long it takes. And if we don't draft or get a QB through agency, where do you get a QB? I'd like to hear where we can get a new qb without the draft or FA? If you say trade who for who?
