Feeley a one star QB

It's just stupid to rate a guy that hasn't started a game yet. What data are they baseing this on? Maybe we should talk about him in a month. I bet he's a three star Q.B. by then. He's got to get the ball to Chambers and Booker this week and he has to be allowed to go downfield to loosen up the D.

I think you have to give ESPN some latitude here. Much like this board, talking about stupid things is often just what they have to do to pass the time. Secondly, if they were rating QBs in a fantasy context, the rating would make perfect sense. If you're a fantasy football player, you should be well aware that Feeley has not started a game for this team or in over a year so you can make an informed decision. We don't have enough information about why they were doing this star exercise to know for sure that they were talking fantasy, but that is what sounds most likely to me.

Kinda like your defense. For that matter your whole team the last 14 years. talking about potential on one hand and then say someone hasnt SHOWN you yet is hypocritical. Bengals look much better, but they havent SHOWN sh*t yet, so keep talkin, it must be nice after a decade to finally show your face in public again.
Listen, if we are talking about what has gone on the past 14 years, there is no question and no argument. The Bengals have been very bad. But, we are talking about this Sundays game, and me saying Feeley hasnt shown anything is not a stretch, its a fact. He couldnt win the job in the preseason, and it took some big time bumbling from Fiedler to get him in there last weekend. Then, he was so so. Honestly, how high are you on this guy? Is he a future star or just a better option than Fiedler?

It says alot about your own defense when a first time NFL starter like Palmer is driving to tie the game in the 4th quarter. Trust me, that last INT will not happen again. So enjoy your win Jetfan, its gonna be a long year with that secondary.

As for Feeley, he hasnt shown me anything.

Our secondary scored a touchdown against you and picked off your qb. We would have had 2 but your wr made a good defensive play. You D-line is a joke. Truth be told Feeley probably wont have to beat you on Sunday, the Phin backs will probably do it for him. Not a 200 yard game like Cmart, but about 120-130 should do the trick.

Add that to the fact that your going up against a better secondary, and have an average at best running game, and what do you get? A harder game then you think.

As far as us having a long season, well, we beat you, so what now?
In all honesty we should have routed you, but you guys got some lucky breaks. That's bad on us, but hell, a wins a win, and a loss is a loss YOU know?

AJ Feeley is a backup QB, and has been his entire career so far (as was Fumbler, before Dave came into his life) He has NOT proven anything, YET !

:fire: We are STILL the ONLY team with three 3rd string QB's :fire:

Feeley is both I believe, although I don't think he will be a star this year. Hopefully a lot like Jake Delhomme, and be a good care taker, and make a few big plays a game.

P.S. Bengals were my favorite team when I was like 4 with Icky Woods, and Boomer, and then I found Dan Marino and switched over after the '85 super bowl, so this game will be very tough for me, as I always root for the Bengals #2.

Much as I hate to say it, your **** defense could make him look like a 4 star field general. Don't get ahead of yourself..
Typical "Yet" fan. They disappear into the woodwork until they get a victory (Against the powerhouse Bengals no less) and they are all over the net smack talking.Anything to keep them from repeating the same talk about their one moment of glory and Joe (Who nowadays is known for less noteworthy achievements
:drinker:and :peck: "I want to kiss you"

Gotta love the old "lucky breaks" line. What kind of break was that Pennington fumble before the half?

YOu wont get an argument from me that Feeley needs to show it. Yes I am high on him, I beleive he has the physicl skills and teh mental aptitude to be very good. He has to prove it tho. That is hard to debate, it is all speculation until proven. That goes for the bengals tho as ell, which was my point. You guys have done alot to turn your team around and had a better year last year, but ultimately you have to take the next step and one game where you O looked good but the defense looked horrible is not enough. Was teh jets that good or is your defense that bad or a combo? I am not ripping your team, but right know it is potential for both, neither has "shown" it yet.

Right...
I've been here since befor the season started, and I'll be here whether we win, lose, or draw. And yea, I'll talk smack to a guy who's team has done absolutly nothing in years, and has the nerve to critisize my team, the team that just beat them. Also, I never see any Jets fans talking about SB 3 here, or anywhere else I post for the most part. You people and your undefeated season is a different story though..

5 start Qb's were

Manning
Brady
Mcnair
Mcnabb
Favre

4 Star was

Trent Green
Matt Hasselbeck
Rich Gannon (Don't Agree)
Mark Bulger
Chad Pennington
Mike Vick

3 Star
Drew Bledsoe
Mark Brunell
Kurt Warner
Jeff Garcia

I forget the rest.

Maddox, Harrington, Brees (I think) were 2s I beleive

Not quite as lucky as Carters fumble on the opening kickoff. We more or less spotted you an f'n lead for christ sake. Add to that 4 dropped balls, 3 by a usually sure handed reciever, and the score coulda been a lot higher. Whatever though, I'm not gonna argue "what if's"..
That game's in the books.

I watched some of the Jets / Bengals game.

I know one thing - the Bengals D had a terrible game tackling. They looked really bad last week. Curtis Martin has always been a good running back, but at his age he should not be a 200 yard guy. He wasn't getting brought down until four or five guys hit him.

I also thought both the KC Defense and the Denver Defense were pretty bad. Let's see when they play a team with a decent D.

what do they expect feely to show? hes played one half of football this year, and went 4-1 2 years ago as a starter, how can you say anything positive or negative about him, i hate how they are rating him and saying he wont do anything when NO ONE KNOWS he hasn't shown anything either way, how you gonna give him a star when no ones seen him? he shouldn't even be rated till they see something...

it pisses me off how hes geting all these negative ratings when you have nothing to base it off of
