Feeley = Deer in headlights

The man had as much composure as anyone and stop trying to diverge from your intention with this thread....starting it surely shows a lack of respect for the man.

I'm not sure yet. If taking stitches to the chin were a requirement for respect though, I'd expect to see alot of Fiedler bashers retracting their assanine, downright disrespectful offensive statements about him after he played thru a broken thumb. Then again, what has AJ done in two games to warrant this massive respect I am supposed to be giving? Is it by a default respect?

And quoting him as looking like deer in headlights does not strip somebody of respect. I can't help it the man looks confused.

He should not have been confused - He knew where the weak links were on the O-line.

Sorry, he had no composure, respect or not. Next!

Hello!!!!!!! Wade effin' Smith!!!!!!!!!! The man sees where the rushers are coming from. He's not a blind QB!
No but apparently you are, if you think the rush was coming from Wade Smith's side every time.

Well since we're dipping into 5th grade levels let me explain this difference since you miss the obvious. He looks confused with where to go with the ball and where to be in the pocket, but he does know where the rush is going to come from - if he doesn't he shouldn't be playing ball.

It was but one example.

I like his arm.........no doubt about that. However, has anyone noticed the "deer in headlights" look he's got when dropping back for a pass? Alex Marvez of the Sun Sentinel said it best when he quoted Feeley as looking downright sloppy. I noticed in that Bengal game that he was dropping back anywhere between 5 and 7 steps and can somebody please tell me why we are doing this?

To me, from what I've seen thus far, the man has no pocket presence whatsoever. He's got happy feet back there and looks extremely riled. With the way the O-line is playing Feeley needs to keep his composure back there. Moreover, he also lacks any athleticism to buy him time and evade a heavy rush.

I notice the samething but hopefully is due to his enexperience not to "Rob Johnson syndrome".

Uh oh .........bro don't agree with me otherwise you'll be forced into a side argument of whether you respect him or not.

TWO sacks Wade Smith gave up......obviously feeley must have had an extrordinary amount of pocket presence if he only got sacked twice from that side......How many plays did they run on offense....I'd like to see the percentage of sacks per play....

Keep in mind that apart from having a horrible O-Line this guy lacks experience...I too see how scared he looks out there...The guy has a great arm...I am not making any excuses for him, but if you ask me, he is in a learning process with a horrible O-Line, thats what it comes down to...With the amount of experience he has, You can almost say AJ is a rookie...

I truly beleive, with time, he'll get it together...wether or not he's our QB of the future is a totally diffrent story.
