i know you don't need this explained to you, that you are just trying to cause trouble, but here's the confusion with the "deer in headlights" bit...

* some people are arguing its the OL
* but others are arguing that he's not ready to be a starting QB

I read the whole thread. I was saying it's your O Line. Seasoned or not, he doesn't have the TIME to react. ANYONE QBing with that line is going to have trouble.

i welcome fans from other factions as long as they prove to be conducive to the healthy debating environment.

then how about lets stop all this talk about how great feeley looks, he did nothing to beat out a avg jay in camp and so far the first 2 games it shows why he didnt. i hope he pulls it together, i hope our whole offense pulls it together. i pull for the jersey not whos wearing it but im not afraid to call a spade a spade. :)

Im not saying Feeley looks great. Im saying that in his 1st 2 games as a Phin with the worst O-Line ive ever seen, he looks as good as Fiedler did with a couple years with the Phins and a substantially better line. If Feeley doesnt show marked improvement by the end of the year then I'll agree that he should be cut. Jay has had 4 years and hasnt shown improvement so he should definately be cut.

last i recall it was feeley who gave up 7 that game, looked like a superstar in the making and came out and looked even better against cincy, i admit when some one plays bad can you admit feeley looked horrible and stop making excuses about its the line. all ive heard was how strong of a gun this guy has,but what ive seen of him so far is nothing pre season or reg season, at least jays a back up this guy looks like what he was in philly 3rd string, i dont care who we have back there they have to play better. i mean we pull jay in a7-0 game at half time and all feeley's done is 2 tds and 3 picks 2 for tds. the whole offense needs to play better feeley included.

Yes,he get us close enough so we though we might score and then threw an interception in the endzone to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

as for your ? yes he threw a pick when we were close to fg range. how many ints for tds did jay throw in that first half? so far neither of them has looked good.

i thought last yr's line was the worst thats all i heard on these boards all offseason, cut a guy that has helped this team win the last 4 yrs and just hand over a job + a 2nd for a guy who couldnt beat him out in camp i dont buy it, i thought you replace a guy because he's an improvement not lets see if he's one. so far he does'nt look it, believe me i hope he turns out good but how long are we gonna give him if he looks the way he has the first two games you say the whole season.

Apparently YOU didn't "watch the game" because in that particular play, it was a freakin jail break!! AJ had 2 defensive lineman in his face before he took 3 steps in a planned 5 step drop,, with another one lineman on the way !!!
