it is clear that A.J is the starter from now on. I like his toughness but he is bein dealt a bad hand here. One of the toughest qb's in the league.
 
Call me when AJ throws a pass that sets up a game winning FG with a broken thumb, and we can talk about him being tough...
 
That's great being tough, but throw a darn pass to our team! He is either not ready, or just a backup. It's simple to see, my god, he is making Jay look like a stud! Yes, I know the o-line is bad, but throw the ball away or eat it, don't throw it up for grabs. He has done this for three weeks in a row!
 
Feeley hasn't done anything yet. All he has done is throw stupid passes and get picked off. 2 for TDs no less. We all know that he has six picks, and we all know that he should have more
 
It is clear to people that have hatred towards Jay Fiedler.
 
Well there is a thing u need to be efficient as a qb it's called time and maybe wit eric winston on our line well have some protection.

I understand you want wins. I want wins, too. I don't support leaving AJ in because I want to tank the season. I support it because we need to know what we have with AJ. That is more important than 3-4 wins in either direction. If AJ doesn't cut it by midseason when he has had more opportunity to show us what he has, I'll be all for starting Jay or Sage or Clint or whoever. We can't throw this opportunity and the 2nd round pick it represents away, though.
 
8 games is no way to judge this kid he deserves all 16
 
It doesnt matter who ya got at QB if your line cant protect You cant win.

Just look at Buffalo,

Just why is this? 10 quarters isn't enough time to judge him, but 30 quarters is ample time if we don't see any improvement.

Correction... over-rated QB who holds on to the ball too long makes an average line look like "poo." Hmmm... that sounds familiar.... Brian Griese anyone??

.... and for some reason I don't seem to remember Fiedler being harrassed during the first half against the Titans.

Your saying the line played well during the 1st half of the Titans game and Fiedler still played poorly???

That would be the Fiedler hater way of looking at it. Opposing defenses apparently decide they don't have to play if Jay is in the game... :rolleyes2

Wanny and Rick made a huge mistake on this guy, we've already seen he doesn't have the decision making ability. On the other hand we all know what Jay offers, and I'll take his sloppy wins over AJ's sloppy losses anyday.

Of the QB's on our roster, this team and it's fans need Jay "Fiedler on the Roof" in there this season, or until he gets hurt once again.
