NO ONE can argue that when Feeley came into the game that the offense was able to move the ball. One thing I noticed as a result was that the defense played a h*ll of a lot better as a result. Thus, when Feeley is in we get two for the price of one, which is actually something we should expect from our starting QB anyway. Feeley allows us to keep our defense off the field so when its their time to come in they will be fresh and he allows us to but points on the board. Fielder has never been able to do this. With more practice with the 1st offense we will see a god showing between Feeley and Gordon as well as seeing Feeley going deep with Chambers a couple of times.

When Feeley drops back to pass, I expect a reception. When Jay drops back to pass, I cringe.

Same Here........

I'm watching the taped game right now. I had such negative feelings yesterday, but up until now, I see the Dolphins had every chance of winning this game. I like Gordon. I like Feeley. Things aren't so bad after all.

I saw the score and read teh BS prior to watching the game now. Anyone who says that we are NOT a better team with Feeley in there is nothing but a Wanny/Fiedler homer.

THIS TEAM IS NOT IN TROUBLE. It seems we beat ourselves!! Start Feeley, start Gordon, cut the BS penalty garbage, and we are as good as any other team outside of maybe 5 in the league.

COC that's exactly what I said yesterday. The Titans didn't beat us per se. We beat ourselves. We held McNair to under 80 total yards and we were able to move the ball on their defense. Our false starts and holding as well as Feeley being unfamiliar with the players on offense (especially Gordon) killed us.

Yep. It is like the Buffalo game in 1983. We lost it, but we had something to be happy about.

In this case, we have some hope for this season. Feeley, Gordon, Booker, Brightful are all new players for us that will only get better each week.

Couldn't agree more.... I'm actually more excited now that I watched the game... yeah losing sucks, but Feeley's in now, and Gordon made some very nice moves and can only get better as he gets more comfortable. Same goes with the other new guys on the team. I can't wait for next week!!!

I actually think we CAN become more of a passing team (similar to the Chiefs, Rams and Colts 60/40 approach) with Feeley behind center.

Not while Dave Wannstedt is Head Coach.

I just finished watching the game and I came away not happy with the result but happy with the talent that is so obviosly there. I thought the line blocked decent and actually created some holes. Feeley and Gordon showed they got some goods. Can't wait for next week, things can only get better.

if the offensive line can just give more time and open a few more holes this offense will be respectable... i watched the taped delay of the game and came away with good feelings bout feeley and gordon ... i just wasn't too impressed with the o-line.. it needs to be more stout ... it may take this season to get all of the new personel to gel.. but after watching this game i have positive thoughts about the future of the offense .. in terms of the defense... the secondary looked awesome... the additions of edwards, poole and howard have made a big difference ... this game was lost more so by the mistakes miami made than the titans pushing the team around ... oh and by the way mcmicheals catch was a fumble recovered by chambers.. the ref got it wrong... the team will rebound .. i just hope it is soon ... the o-line is a concern ... but agian i see a solid future!!!!

I'm willing and always have been to take some bumps in the road in waitiing for good to develope. I think with AJ, Gorden, CC, MB, and RM, and the young OL, we have really good talent. I think game 5-6 we'll be really getting tough to defend. We just need to be 2-2 around that time then we'll have a really good season. DW just needs to be patient and supportive of mistakes these young players will make as they learn to be a team and get acclimated with the scheme, while at the same time coaching them up. Regardless of the perception that our coaches stink, they frankly are quite good...I'm talking position coaches here. The TV media and ESPN can laugh all they want, because if DW doesnt keep tinkering with player combinations (except MCtosh maybe), I think we'll be a huge surprise as I mentioned. HE who laughs last laughs best...I think we'll get to do the laughing in a month.

HAHAHA!! I've been saying 2-2 for the first 4 would be OK for awhile now.

Feeley moved the ball in garbage time. If can't move the ball vs a pathetic Bungles defense we're in trouble. Lamar Gordon showed nothing, the Oline showed nothing, the only player on offense who did anything was Randy McMike. This is a "must" win and that word is thrown around alot but if the Phins don't win this week, we're gonna be in for a long season. Our defense has to come after Carson who looked good today.
