Feeley Moves the Ball

Feeley moved the ball at the beginning of the third quarter down 7-0. I have no clue what your talking about.

I saw the score and read teh BS prior to watching the game now. Anyone who says that we are NOT a better team with Feeley in there is nothing but a Wanny/Fiedler homer.

THIS TEAM IS NOT IN TROUBLE. It seems we beat ourselves!! Start Feeley, start Gordon, cut the BS penalty garbage, and we are as good as any other team outside of maybe 5 in the league.

I'm not so sure. To the quick eye...it sure does look that way.

But observe the run defense for a change and you will see that the Titans didn't focus on McNair passing a lot. They focused more on the trenches. It is there where I think our defense is hurting.

It is quite obvious that Miami has a damn good secondary....so you attack the weakest link....our defensive line minus OGUN, minus Timbo. I'm sure that Fisher is more than happy that his game plan of pounding the football worked magnificently.

I hope TIMBO comes back soon. :shakeno:

Guys I am not making excuses here but anyone with Tivo go back and rewatch the game. On the 52 yd run by Chris Brown taking nothing away from him look at #68 on the Titans line and #88. I find it hard to believe they call pass int on a ball in the endzone that was thrown in the back of the endzone and bennett didn't even know where it was at. That was not pass int on Howard. Also that was catch by McMike and a fumble we should have had the ball 1st and goal from the 6. That was a game changing play IMO if we had got that it would have been diffrent. I also believe the line played well when you take into consideration the time they have had together and the blitzes Tenn was throwing at us. Also we have to cut out the mental mistakes. 14 penaltys and 4 TO's and we lost by 10. Cut out the stupid penaltys and the refs make the right calls and we win the game. It was a great learning experience and they will build from it.

I'm looking at Sunday really being our First game..Since our real Quaterback will finally get his first start. Feely has all the tools man he just excites everytime he drops back. With a full week of practice and a sound game plan we should be able to beat the Bengals. Plus it PrimeTime, We just love to play on ESPN on Sunday nights..

McMike didn't catch that football. The replay shows that he didn't exhibit control of the ball. You can't argue that...because it was obvious as he turned that it was coming loose.

McMichael fumble

I have to disagree. At first I thought it was incomplete, but after seeing it a few more times, it was clear that he had both feet down with control of the ball. He was completely turned to run when the ball came loose. That WAS a fumble, and would have changed the game completely.
The pass interference call on Howard in the endzone was BS too, he got bumped within 5 yeards;completely legal, and he was nowhere near where the ball was thrown and should have been called uncatchable anyway, there was a horrible call in the Jets-Bengals game too, where they call a clear fumble an incomplete pass by blowing the whistle prematurely, the league needs to do something about some of the quick whistles, it's not just the Fins that were on the short end of the stick with calls, it happens in almost every game to some extent. Some more game changing than others.

This to me is the biggest difference between Fiedler and Feeley. Feeley can move the ball down the field with his arm ALONE. Fiedler needs a great RB and a lot of great receiver play to get the team down the field regularly.

I'm watching the taped game right now. I had such negative feelings yesterday, but up until now, I see the Dolphins had every chance of winning this game. I like Gordon. I like Feeley. Things aren't so bad after all.
Couldn't agree more. I hope Feeley continues coming through for the team. Gordon looked like he could be a very good RB for the team.

Did y'all catch the clip of Fiedler on the NFL Today show this morning? I thought he was going to start crying when he mentioned how upset he was with his play, the team's losing and then (Sniff sniff) his getting pulled. The guy is a professional and he'll say the right things but he's got to own up to not being as good of a qb as Feeley if that is indeed the way it is.

Good is realative ...winning games is GOOD throwing interceptions for T.D.'s in a tight defensive struggle is not... whos to say fiedler wouldnt have rallyed a little if we had to throw .... which was the situation...I like feely and hope he will get it going but that interception was as much a game breaker as anything... I felt the last qrt td was a mercy score...in a way..so I will reserve judgement till i can see alot more of him in another type game situation...heres something to ponder ..what if feely come out and stinks it up??do we really want jay to come back in at halftime?...does he get a quick hook like fiedler did? I am very curious to see what happens next.

Maybe Feeley should actually win a game

before we start declaring him the anointed one...?

Before you get your hopes up you might want to consider the fact that Fiedler and Feeley might not make up a quarterback between them.

AJ is green, but his instincts are way better than Jay's. To me AJ's INT was more excusable than Jay's two. There is no excuse for the bonehead throws that Jay made, they were pathetic. AJ was for the most part right on the money. Give AJ more time with the first team, get Gordon more familiar with the playbook, and get Konrad back on the field and, our offense won't look so inept. It might be a while, but I see a future for this offense with AJ at QB. If I were DW, I would continue giving AJ the ball.

He did catch that ball. It hit him in the bread basket he has total control and turned and it came out. It wasn't like he caught it with his hands, it was drilled in his stomach.
