Sorry if this has been posted, but I just heard on the NFL Network from Adam Sch., is that the Dolphins offered a No.1 pick to the Redskins for Pat Ramsey. The Redskins said no, so we gave a No. 2 to the Eagles for Feeley last year. Did anyone else hear about that?

I highly doubt that, you must of heard it wrong.

This is true. This occurred two years ago when we traded for AJ. We wanted Ramsey, offered a 1st, they declined, and the next day we had AJ for a 2nd.

What trade would have been worse? Yuck.

We all know that we gave up a second round pick for Feeley, but Adam Schfler just said that the Redskins said no to a No. 1 for Ramsey.

Spurrier said no...he couldn't find anyone else stupid enough to stand back there and take a beating...:goof:

Then we would have missed out on Carey...Both trades suck...:shakeno:

Was it Spurrier or was it Gibbs that said no? I can't remember the month we got Feeley. I think Spurrier was already gone.

Oh my bad, I thought he meant we asked the Redskins for Ramsey just recently. My appologies

that is true.

I remember hearing about that two years ago the second the season finished.

Good thing we never did that huh?

It is true we originally wanted Brunell but Jacksonville wouldn't trade him to a team in the same conference so when he went to the Redskins we tried trading for Ramsey and then that didn't work out so we picked up Feely I believe that is how it happened if my memory serves me right.

Lets see, the number 2 overall pick for Patrick Ramsey..

Boy am I glad that terd Rick Spielman is gone.

Brunell was a free agent. I knew the fans wanted him, but not sure how much the Dolphins wanted him.

Maybe...but, maybe he would have thrived here. He does have the "talent". Losing Ronnie Brown would certainly not have been worth it. It would have had to be our 1st round pick we used to draft Vernon Carey (would have still had our 4th too  ).

Gibbs signed him to a sick contract, that not even Rick Spielman was dumb enough to top.
