even if feeley went 2/3 for 10 yards Gus would be starting next week. Saban made it clear that Gus was the starting guy.

The Job was Gus' to lose, and while he tried as hard as he could to NOT win the starting job, AJ Feeley tried harder.

I think AJ will be lucky to not find himself on 3rd string come next week. Even Sage doesn't play this bad.

we got there by one deep pass by AJ to DT. this was due to the DB's playing off since it was fifteen seconds left till halftime.

The fact that Gus apparently played one series shows he's the starter. That's what this last preseason game is all about - get your starters out w/out injury. Unless A.J. lit it up, it was Gus all the way in Saban's mind. But w/ A.J.'s horrific performance, consider the coffin nailed. I mean - these stats are like instant-cut stats! Would anyone be really shocked if you saw this happen by Sunday? Only reason I can think of for keeping him is the potential cap hit - and I have no idea what that is.

good point, and i'd have to agree.

i wouldn't be surprised if he slides down the roster or gets moved or cut next week. this is just dreadful.
