Another thought I had too is..... Since we seem to keep Sage around all the time why dont we send him to europe in the off season or something? I mean whats the point. If you dont ever give him a chance to develop you might as well get ryan leaf to hold the clip board>

Fiedler had the talent around him when he was here and did nothing with it.He didnt have a arm then, still does'nt, glad he's gone !!

Fiedler won games. No arm, and kind of a dork, but he won games. He's gone. move on. Now we have guys who don't win games. Let's just hope they change.

I'm glad hes gone he can't really throw the long ball and he lost his mobility he had years ago. He did pour his heart into the game but he had no arm and he wasn't the most aware quarterback.

Fiedler is finally in a west coast system that he is PERFECT for... if Pennington goes down, I wouldn't be surprised to see him come in and lead the Jets on a big run of wins. But, the current system involves too much down the field passing for him to have been successful.

He had to learn a new system, and they did give him a fairly thorough evaluation. For a while there, while Feeley was struggling with the system he was taking a lot of snaps with the 2nd team, and was rumored to be close to being promoted to the 2nd string.
