At the end:

"It's not that you will wake up one day and be left without Luck. It's that you'll wake up one day and realize that you had a franchise quarterback and failed to surround him with talent."

It reads like the Phins (sans the QB stuff). Bad free agents, bad draft, no real good homegrown talent, etc.

But the #QBWINZ culture I guess only applies to THill.

It reads like Dan Marino. What an awful waste of talent. Inexcusable.

I am pretty done with QB17 talk around here . . . Bring on 2016.

But lets not pretend like Luck hasn't put that team on his back on several occasions and guided them to playoff visits and playoff wins. Lets not pretend like that guy doesn't maneuver inside and outside the pocket like a 10 year pro . . . With an oline that take off the homer goggles, was worse than ours. Yes, he sometimes tries to do too much and it results in turnovers . . . .but that guy is a legit dude under center.

Tannehill hasn't earned the right to be mentioned on or near his level.

The similarities can't be dismissed. The only difference I see is the division the two teams belong to. Both have poor guard play, both have bad linebacker units, both have free agent and coaching "issues." Yes, Luck is a better QB than Tannehill. The point I was trying to make is that Luck can't do it on his own. I wonder if Luck and Thill have a pissing blood contest once in a while.

Seriously.

This tread wasn't meant to be a Luck vs. Thill contest. It was a franchise vs. franchise tread. I just wanted to make mention that when you pretty much can go 5-1 in your division without batting an eye, getting to the playoffs is a lot easier. I do have a feeling that that is changing and unless Indy adds more talent, they will have a much harder time getting the to playoffs in the near future.

T Hill's offensive line might be bad, but he has had playmakers around him. Are we going to have the best WR and best RB to have Tannehill ball out?

Personally I think it is time we address the oline so he can stop having excuses. We need another QB to come in here and push Tannehill to another level through competition.

The good news is that we seem to have the better team than they do, while that is not a big compliment.

Screw The Colts. Welcome to Football Karma. You angered The Football Gods with your complete tank job "Suck For Luck" campaign. I hope they never win anything with him. Justice.

I don't disagree with this at all. Once again, this is not about Thill excuses. He needs to put foot to @ss pretty quickly this year. I just saying that I like my teams chances better in the AFC South than in the AFC East although I think the AFC South will be much more competitive this season.

LOL, that didn't take long.....

Per PFF
2014 Colts OL ranked 17, Miami 32
10`5 Colts OL ranked 15, Miami 31

But, we never do that. Why is that? We bring back Matt Moore that will only EVER come in the game if Tannehill is carried off on a stretcher. Even when RT17 is stinking it up beyond belief, and the game is out of reach, they still won't put in Matt Moore. What exactly is the point of having Matt Moore on our roster at all when you will never play him under any conditions or circumstances, unless it is life threatening (LOL)? It makes ZERO sense to me...

What is the sense of playing a worse QB?

You cannot mention Luck, Newton, Wilson, Flacco, and many other young QBs in the same thread as Tannehill without getting the "Tannehill can't be compare to....." rants.

That statement in my eyes makes your intention clear.

I agree with the sentiment that you have to surround with your QB with talent to see overall team success . . . but that shouldn't undermine the QB being a sure bet of being the biggest factor in most team success in the NFL.

This guy, going into year 5, should not be given this air of confidence that he gets around here . . . . he hasn't earned it. He also shouldn't be given up on. I may have my thoughts on him because of what I have seen for 4 years, but I do understand his continued development is the "best move" for this team at this moment, and that is all I care about. I don't have ties to Tannehill, my ties are with Adam Gase and what he wants for this offense and this team.

It was a dumb comparison, even you should know that.
