Ferguson back @ practice - likely to play

Nice to see him back. He is definitely one of the most important pieces of the defense. I'd be scared relying on Soliai or Starks to fill the role he plays. I think maybe father time is catching up to him. Hopefully, he can stay healthy the rest of the year.

I think that they should definitely start rotating Soliai and/or Starks in there more in case this happens again.

Good? Wow, this is the best news I have heard today! Our D without the moster in the middle is scary. I am glad he is back.

That being said Marshawn Lynch is on my fantasy team, but I would much rather have the Phins win than Lynch go ape on us. I need a win badly in my league, but just want everyone else on my team to step up.

Thanks for the info.

Great news, he is arguably the most important player on our D.

Schweeeeeet!

A banged up OLine for the Bills too!

Whoo-hoo!!!!

Actually the Bills fans seem to be kind of glad we have Preston starting at center.

We would like butler back at RG but Whittle is fairing just fine and did a bang up job last weekend.

I just wanted to add we didn't give any sacks up last weekend against the chargers with this banged up oline.

While I was, and continue to be thrilled with the FA signing of Smiley as our most important veteran addition, in hindsight, the trade swap of the 6's and additional 09 6th for Fergie was most likely even more critically essential. Didn't realize how much gas he's still got left in the tank.

So do you guys think that the old monster vet is still starting with us by the time we make a serious run at the super bowl (2-3 years IMO)? It would be great if he could because I'm not too sure if we have anyone on our roster that can step up and play one of the more important and harder positions in the 3-4 defense. Without a NT, it cripples your MLB's effectiveness and that leaves a gaping hole in the middle and then your safety has to pick up the slack which in turn exposes us to the pass.

In short, NT has a direct effect to the effectiveness of our defense (i should know because we play a similar defense and i play NT and when I'm not playing well the entiredefense suffers.)

Great news although i'm sure we'll still be seeing more of Starks and Soliai at NT, at least this week.
