17-0 Still Perfect
I think I was one of only a few Dolphin fans at this game (I bought my ticket back in June)....Thought I'd share a lil of what I saw.
1. Watching the team warm-up and do their stretches, Jason Taylor came onto the field mid way through warm ups upon getting his foot ready to play...There was just a 'presence' about him coming onto the field to stretch with his teammates, I know I'm a big fan of his and all....but you just feel he make the guys around him play better.
2. Chatman was doing some quickness/handoff drills near the sideline and he made it clear he didn't like the Patriots jogging by him on the sideline, shoving some patriots out of the way, with team mates holding him back and breaking things up. THAT I liked seeing out of one of our players, especially the starting running back.
3. Chatman did about a ten yard run getting the Dolphins close to the goaline but took a hit much like he did during the Steelers game with his head getting knocked back and wasn't seen again, coming off the field on his own. Hadnot was going nuts yelling at him with Chatman not saying too much while being injured. I got the feeling Hadnot wanted him in there to run the ball in from where they were (around the 2yd line I think). Teamates had to walk Hadnot far away from Chatman.
4. Lastly, the stadium was full, no empty seats...and basically quiet as can be for almost the whole game, except for when the pats scored of course...they got a lil loud, and even the sound people for the stadium cranked up the noise in the speakers to try and get the pats fans into the game when their defense was on the field....but those smug pats fans sat there quietly, knowing their team would win.
