The media has many more resources and contacts but, have to question if they do a better overall job than posters here. The national media, with few exceptions, is watching 32 teams without the same knowledge of Phinatics watching only the Phins.

The local media reports things as the hear them but, opinions are nothing special.

For example, Hoops and Hayden do a MUCH better job on post game analysis than Mando and the Herald. Daytona and Nubler post things at light speed, and well before the media. Just a few examples, and there are MANY I am missing, with no mention of the draft Gurus.

Agree or Disagree?

Well i do not think anybody here has legitimate contacts to the team, at least none that I am aware of. So it is natural to post what the media says
 
The news hounds are just reacting to media tweets. Nobody here actually has an in with the team.

My cousin's nephew's neighbor's brother-in-law once sold a '78 Pinto to a man who was best friends with the father of a guy who owned a dog that peed on Ross' regular caddy at the country club.

Does that count?

I once passed Taco Bell gas while walking in front of the seats at the training camp and Drew Rosenhaus was walking right behind me. :hi5:
I also watched Pee Wee football with Troy Vincent in Pompano beach back in the day.
I talked to Marino at Markham Park Target Range for 10 minutes in 1991.
That's all I got.

Actually, I come here for my Dolphins news. I don't live in South Florida so the local media rarely covers anything about Miami. Unlike the media, there are a very wide variety of opinions expressed on this site about virtually all Fin news. I appreciate the opinions of some posters and quite frankly ignore others. Those that post and support opinions with some facts or stats, I can enjoy. Those that just say "he's garbage get rid of him", I skip over without giving it much thought. I really do appreciate the game analysis of some posters and the draft info of some who put a lot of time into it. That and the quick posting of news by guys like Nubs, Daytona, and Fish are greatly appreciated by fans like me. I really like the site, but like all forums there is some bad with the good. Arguing over some stupid point between two posters is one of the bad things. And yes, I have contributed!

I don't have a twitter account so I always come to FH for news. I log-in here literally numerous times a day, every day, all year. The national media isn't important to me.
