I can't understand, yes we lost. We got beat by a team that was better on this sunday.

Saban made some questionable calls, but you can't expect amazing plays you've never seen without expecting a few flops. Don't understand the Mare thing, but I'm sure saban had something in mind that obviously didn't work.

If everyone is expecting every "trick" play and scheme created by our coaches, who are by the way still learning the ins and outs of each of each player, to work you are crazy.

Saban was experimenting a lot this game and trying to win at the same time.

Maybe you doubters should watch the game a little closer and see the blocking schemes on both sides of the ball.

Didn't you see how our blitz packages were completely disrupting their O-Line?

Didn't you see how our plays were getting WR wide open?

Didn't you see how our D schemes were on many occasions putting defensive backs in the right place a lot of the time?

Didn't you see how we got a phantom holding call in the third quarter that negated a HUGE play by Ronnie Brown?

Didn't you see how for a fifth time this season Chambers had a helluva run on a reverse play, and that our coaching staff isn't afraid to use plays like that?

This game again had many many good points and again one or two mistakes less and we could have easily won this game.

Quit *****'en and lood forward to more improvement over last year. It's only our 3rd loss, and it's not like it was to a slouch of a team, the bucs are pretty good.

Those are some good points. The defense did play well for most of the game. They were lost on the first Bucs drive and failed on 3rd down alot, but they fixed that in the second half. Miami still has a good defense.

The offense, however, has not played consistent at all. Miami had some good plays taken away by penalties again. Some were legitimate calls and some were bad calls. But they must start making plays when the game is on the line. They have yet to do that. In fact, they missed plays for touchdowns again, and even gave up 7 points on that sack/forced fumble because of a lack of focus.

Schulter's pick in the Carolina game was an example of a critical moment. He stepped up and made a play to create the game winning field goal. But once again, it was a great, critical defensive play. Not an offensive one.

I hate all these people that after a loss, want everything to change. new QB, start questioning our play calling/coaching, etc etc etc. We lost we are 2-3 and still right in our division. Everyone needs to not loss their f'n minds when we lose a game, and remember that we have 11 more weeks

You are so right.

Now I'm not saying I'm happy with how we played.

Gus had a patheitic game.

Coaches didn't use R and R as affectively as I would have liked, but I don't get paid millions to gameplan or execute the gameplan on gameday and I'm sure they did the best they could given the looks posed by the Bucs D.

By the way our D rocks!!!:D

But things do need to change after a loss. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is stupid. If the team continues to play as they have the last 2 games, they will not win any more games.

You are right, thanks for the props.

We are not their yet, but considering that was an away game, I did see some improvement.

I still think we have a good chance at doing some great things this season while still preparing for the future.

Who was the sage-loving dude in the chat room? He was getting on everybody's nerves.

sorry but that is the mind set of our old wanny. he laways looked at the upside adn not the negatives. thats what saban doesnt do and inorder to get better you can't look at ur positives and not the negatives. im sick of ppl being in denial or not understanding this concept. GREAT Palyers and teams get better by trying to fix the negatives not look at the positives. A great bball player can have 30 points but 5 turnovers, and he will ***** at himsefl abotu the 5 turnovers so he wont make tthose mistakes, someone who has 20 points and 6 turnovers will only think about the 20 points and not the turnovers and stay the average to decent player. thats hte diff. btw greatness and becomg great then from teh average or the not so good.

don't know, anyone who loves sage is not a good judge of QB's. He could possibly step in and hopefully not lose a game for us, but he has never been an answer at QB whether it is now or ever.

Gus is not great by any means, but he is what we've got and we need to make the best of him.

I really think we need to try to play more smashmouth ball instead of this "wide open" passing game. We have a better personell for that type of game. Not saying we couldn't take shots and not saying I want it conservative just more physical and less prissy.

Just my opinion but we are a litlle better set up for that.

disagreed, but only because anyone who thinks this is a good run-blocking O-line is fooling themselves... and also, the McMike is a one-way player.... not a blocker... we can forget any consistent power off tackle stuff, certainly..

What was the improvement? A few less penalties?
