One thing is for sure and that is defenses will play the same against us when Jay gets back until he proves the thumb is ok.

So lets hope when he does come back he's 100%.

thats exactly what i think too, if he can't throw, RW can't run! :rolleyes: :(
 
I agree, let Jay wait until he's ready. Don't force it just to get him in there. The way this Fielder mythology is building, all it's gonna take is one accurate and strong throw and the Buffalo/Bears defense is gonna scramble like roaches. If he's not physically ready, he won't be able to do that. However, at one point wasn't Jay playing- and winning- with a strained ligament in one finger and this broken thumb?
 
Exactly, he mad the game winning drive against Denver with it... man, he should be physically allmost ready to go now.

when you first break it, the thumb is numb, i bet his whole hand is sore right about now!:rolleyes:
 
I doubt it, I had the same break, and when I got the cast off 3 weeks later the hand wasn't sore... just a little weak (okay, very weak) but definately not sore, and since he's a professional athelete and not just a knuckle dragging mechanic I'm sure he should heal faster than I did.

Any chance the BOys from the South can pull out 12-4. Lucas goes 3-3 Jay comes back hot and we roll through the Playoffs. That would be a dream come true.

That would be a dream come true, too. But my scenario is much more likely to happen. ;)
 
One thing's different now: you don't hear much from Jay's detractors. When he comes back strong, they should shut up for good.:fire:
