Who do you guys think did better for us in the 2003 season?I was just wondering if we should of kept griese. I mean look what he did in Tampa. He had a pretty decent year.

I thought we should have left Griese in and benched Fiedler. I wish we had kept him. He is very accurate and doesn't make a lot of bone headed mistakes. His low INT total is something that could really be a big asset to a ball control team like us. I'm sure there are some coaches on our staff right now that would LOVE to have him.

No Doubt. That was a true bonehead move keeping Fiedler and getting rid of Griese. A shame. A damn Shame!!! :fire:

dont forget he blew the Indy game with those two fumbles, hes another decent qb, we need someone to be above decent, i think feely might be able to reach that this year, if not we need to get rid of him

I'm not endorsing Fiedler, just playing devils advocate here.

We all agree that there were numerous coaching problem in the last staff. Whose to say those problems didn't negativley impact Fiedler as well.

That being said, I still endorse Greise

Look at the system Griese played in. Nothing but short passes. Of course he's going to have good numbers.

No. Wade Smith blew that Indy game by letting Dwight Freeney turn him into a human turnstile. Griese's inability to hang onto the ball didn't help, but if Smith hadn't let Freeney break land speed records in getting to the passer, it wouldn't have been an issue.

My Opinion? We should of had a Feeley/Griese/Rosenfel QB Corps. No offense to Gus Frerotte or anything, but Griese has more years ahead of him now.

Greise seemed to drop the ball every time he was hit im not sure of actual #'s but it seemed like he had alot of turnovers in the games he played for us. I never cringed when Fiedler got hit like I did when Griese did. I was worried the damn ball was gonna come loose.

well i guess there is hope for some of you jokers after all .I am glad somebody is seeing the light. i feel very strongly about this but if you would give brian greise a oline and a rb to go along with chambers and booker i would predict that we would be playing in the super bowl . yes guys and lady i am a believer in greise why ? I have no clue . well its almost time to watch accorrding to jim so i must leave you now to take some comedy notes from the master of comedy. by the way female finfan did know that you are a goddess ?

I think that just shows how bad our offensive line was. Griese is above average when he has time to throw and would likely do very well in Lineman's offense. That said, we obviously can't look back and I think Feeley has more physical skills than Griese. If the coaching staff can get him to make better decisions he could be the answer.

He's not guilty yet and everyone wants to hang him. Let the judicial system play its course and then you can judge him. Too many people in the US are quick to judge others without ever walking in their shoes.

There's a reason why Denver let go of Griese for nothing... worthless.

And any Miami fan who defends Fiedler sure must like seeing td's go the other way, b/c that's the only thing he did well.

Trash... and Trash... next topic!
