Fielder mad he was benched

no OL means no winning. it aint the QB

Jay wasn't good when we had on OL either. He's is just one piece but it's very weak piece. Hopefully today was the day that ends the Fiedler era in Dolphins football. For that I am more excited than I have been in years about the Dolphins. They can now start moving forward on the offensive side of the ball.

As I said in another thread.....

Fiedler got mad for being benched?
Sweet!

Tell him to take a number. He's only pissed this one week, I've been a pissed off season ticket holder for over 2 years now that he wasn't benched!

Fans like the bulk of you should make any respectable Dolphins fan ashamed to be associated with you.

I understand that things didn't go well with Jay in there today. I understand that Jay has limitations. I understand that many of you want change. I even understand that so many years of Wanny have made all of you think you could be a head coach.

What I will never understand is why you have to insult Jay when all he has given this team is his best play and a ton of heart. I'm fine with questioning any player's play, but you don't insult our Dolphins players. It's pretty likely based on what I have heard that AJ will be starting soon enough, and I can only hope that the lunatic name-calling fringe of Dolphins fans will support him better than they have Jay.

Yeah I really like jay too...i always have since the Denver/Dolphins game in 2002 when he led us into FG range with seconds left with a BROKEN thumb!! I had really admired him after that and its tough to say stay on the bench jay but AJ shows alot more potential and jay could not get it done with the past years teams, he will not get it done with this one when were hurting...

Gotta agree with you JJ. Feidler at least deserves respect as a person. He has the heart (just not the talent) of a champion. Also it was Armando who said the Feidler was in a foul mood. I read the article and all I got from Feidler's words were that he believed he could still win the game. I don't think he should have started today, but I can't see insulting the guy on a personal level because of his lack of ability, either.

I suported Jay from day one like I've said before but I wanted him out this off-season and still can't believe Wanny kept him. Is time for both of them to go imo.

Ozzy rules!!

Another thing: It isn't a bad thing to see guys upset that things didn't go their way (unless they channel the energy into destructive behavior). Jay has a point about his ability to come back from similar situations. I am not upset in the least that a change was made, but I think most of us would probably feel the same way if we were in Jay's shoes. His acknowledged lack of ability doesn't mean that he lacks the fire to play that I'd love to see in all of our players.

Jay would have the right to be mad if AJ came in and blew. Unfortunity for Mr. Feidler AJ came in and was pretty damn good for his first real snaps since phili. Other than that one play he looked like a vet.

I think Fielder should of been benched, however I also believe Fiedler should be mad that he was benched. In fact, if he was happy he was benched, I believe Miami should cut him right now. A player that is not mad that they were benched is a player that shouldn't be in the NFL.

Fact is Jay threw 2 interceptions today when the Oline gave great protection and Jay had plenty of time. So you cant brush off Jays poor performance on the Oline. On the other hand AJs INT was because the oline failed to pick up the blitzing MLB.
