Fielder's Future

I dont think Jay needs to be cut WHAT SO EVER. He has made some type of contribution to this team since he has played. He has more heart than anyone on the team and he is an average QB. Reconstruction of his contract is a good idea for both parties and that should be what is done. I dont understand how ANYONE can say if we win the SB he should still be cut or put back to a back-up...

I assume if we win the Super Bowl it will not be in spite of Fiedler, so I'd vote for him staying... The Ravens won with a Fiedler-esque perfomance from Dilfer and sent him packing and then what???

We're not gonna be able to win a Super Bowl with a guy who then becomes disposable... Now, I'll leave the door open for Griese to compete and make the team choose... I think Fielder's future is more dependant on Griese than on Fielder himself... If Griese plays a season with us as a back-up and then hits the Free Agent market and we don't keep him, won't Fiedler win the job back by default???
