As horrendous as was the decision to run on 3rd down when time was not going to be relevant even after an incompletion, the failure to pin the Packers within the 10 yard line was inexcusable.

I saw a lack of preparedness all throughout the last 4 minutes, but the lackadaisical blocking on the punt that allowed penetration to rush it was inexcusable.

I will let others apportion the blame between Philbin and the 3 coordinators for the lack of attention to detail in all 3 phases. This disturbs me much more than Philbin's defensive timeouts, although the first one was unconscionable while the latter on the 6 yard line was warranted under the assumption that its purpose was to set the defense.

I have always felt that the criticism of Philbin's in-game management was for the most part overblown as compared with Philbin's biggest deficiency--namely that he is too much of a delegator and needs to be more hands-on with his coordinators.

He hasn't boomed one in a while it feels like

Finally, someone points it out. That was an awful punt. Needed a good punt one time and he does what 40 yards and low fr a good return

Granted it was a bad punt, but do you think it's easy to land one inside the 10?

They almost blocked it. They had 11 on the line. If we recover that damnn fumble when rodgers was sacked on last drive, everything is rosey.

From where he was punting, there is no way a return should have occurred to allow Green Bay to start at their own 41. If properly executed, the outcome should have been a fair catch deep in Green Bay territory. It wasn't a situation where an angled coffin-corner punt was required.

It was 41 yards but there was a 17 yard return so a net of 24 yards. Would have been better kicking it out of bounds with our punt coverage unit. Two punts, 41 yards in returns for the packers. Our punt coverage team is worse than our kickoff coverage team.
