Film Study: Tua looked good vs the Jags.

Who wouldn’t look good against them? They suck, that’s why it’s so obvious how bad we are because we lost them.
Burrow. First half tale of the tape and then Mixon took over in the second half and voila Cinci eeks out the win as the the mighty Jags can’t contain everyone Burrow throws like 100 yards to his TE

Running game matters

Hard to judge Tua because it was Jacksonville.

Let’s see if he can string a solid performance against ATL and how he does against Buffalo.

Any given Sunday. But hey...I guess if Tua had sucked we could have all concluded that he will never be an NFL QB. Good times.

When you make this kind of evaluation, you isolate the quarterback to determine if they can operate well within certain confines, or if someone gets good results because the competition sucks.

The fact that Tua was under pressure all day and basically avoided about ten sacks while still dealing should be a pretty good indication that he performed well and that we should probably be serious about exactly how bad the rest of the unit, especially the protection, is.

The problem with this type of analysis is that we suck, too. Our WRs aren’t better than their CBs. Our OL isn’t better than their DL. Our RBs aren’t beating their LBs. We weren’t winning matchups just because they suck — because we suck. Our offense and their defense were fairly evenly matched, except for Tua.

As I said he was the Best player on the field including Both teams in London. Tua got a thumbs up for me. And I am one that doesn’t think his ceiling is that High.

But the offseason at QBs look like this

1. Rodgers
2. Big Ben
3. Watson
4. Willis
5. Corral

Was able to watch the All22. Tua looked very good coming back. But he did leave a few play on the field. Some reads I didn't agree with. In my opinion he went conservative because of the pressure. JD is going to get him killed. Josh Allen handled Eich on almost every play. If we can tighten up the pressure off the edges and give Tua that extra second. This offense changes completely. Eich is just going through rookie woes. I believe we need to address RT by kicking Hunt back outside. Maybe utilize Dieter at guard to facilitate. The offense needs to be run through Sicki and Waddle. Design the whole damn game to them!
Interesting Sicki didn't line up once as online TE. His agent is going to look for WR contract money. Is trading DVP and moving Sicki on a new contact to WR crazy? Keep Long in from now on to develop as our hand in the dirt TE.
What happened to Gaskin? He seems defeated. Brown did pick up a couple nice pass pro blocks. Finally. Time to see what Doaks can do in my opinion.

Very true. That said, Tua found ways to get the hall to all of them despite being under constant duress. Huge difference between the Brissett-led offense and Sunday.
"Constant duress" is a bit much.

When you look at the pressure statistics:

...Tua is only pressured 16.5% of time. This would place him as the 4th least pressured QB in football out of 33.
