I think everyone's expectations of ted ginn are skewed by his daft position. Everyone expects him to be a #1 receiver however let's look at his career as a football player. In high school he was a quarterback, in college he was an ok receiver and an excellent return man. and when he was drafted the guy that drafted him got on the podium and raved about his return skills and said that he would eventually develop as a receiver, so for us to think that he'll ever be a true #1 receiver may a bit be far fetched. The fact is HE'S NEVER BEEN A NUMBER 1 RECEIVER AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL BE. I don't expect him to be an anquan bolden, larry fitzgerald or marvin harrison. I don't expect him to go up in traffic and come down with the ball, or to break tackles and pop off long runs, but what i do expect him to do is return kicks and catch the easy wide open pass that any NFL receiver should be able to do regardless of their draft position. Last week, he dropped a few that i would expect an undrafted free agent to catch. can't have that, otherwise he's exactly where he should be, a great returner and average receiver.
