So wouldn't that mean he has the exact same name as his dad? Wouldn't that get confusing?
 
thats makes it easier to say his name at least because it's shorter
 
only when his dad is wearing his jersey, or tries to cash one of his checks.
 
:) But didn't we draft his dad and the rest of the family too? This could get confusing.

It was said during draft coverage. I have been trying to look for it in writing somewhere. But I watched every min of the draft and I do remember then saying it during the coervage
 
i just could NOT believe it when he said that.

you can tell the emotions of knowing the family for so long played a HUGE part in them drafting TG. and that statement made cam look kinda amateur-ish and sentimental.

bad time for that kind of comment.

maybe he never told the team...
or maybe it's like when Patrick Surtain changed how his name was pronounced...
 
it was a joke from the commentators right after we picked, cuse goodell just said "ted ginn, wr, ohio state" and berman jokes "oh since hes number 9 he changed it to just ginn, no jr." it wasnt serious
 
It was not stupid at all for Cameron to mention the family. The bottom line is how often are these guys me first etc? This kid isnt going to change. He is a CAN'T MISS guy - which is what Saban went for at number 2 with Ronnie Brown (and while part of me likes the pick and part of me doesn't) the fact of the matter is we got a pretty darn good player. Just think if we just drafted our first round pick in the last ten years and didnt miss on it we would be a super bowl team. Well Mueller and Cam got this one right! They got the best most dynamic player with a great support cast and HE WANTED TO BE HERE. This is the best draft we have had since we got Taylor, Rodgers, and Surtain (and we missed on Yatil Green in that one -can you imagine if we just drafted the right guy in round one?) Even if only Ginn and Beck work out it is still one of our best ever... Ginn will be special and I have the same feeling about Beck - the guy just has that "it" factor
