Ok guys, it's the slow part of the off season and a situ has came up that I need some help with. My best friend since HS (20 yrs ago) is not a big sports fan. Well he gambles on most all sports weekly, but doesn't have that one team he lives and dies with sunday to sunday like the rest of us. Any way, last Friday we found out that his girl is "with child". This is not the "let's celebrate" kind of news that a lifestyle bachelor wants to hear. Add to that he turns 40 in OCT and the news is closer to "OH CRAP, my life is over" kinda thing. Any ways since I am his wing man it is my job to rub in his bad fortune as much as possbile. I have came up with all the one-liners about him going to his kids HS graduation in a wheel chair and all the other jokes about his partying days being over, but now we gotta come up with a name for the little buger.
Since I am known as a diehard fin fan (which means don't mess with me for at least 24 hours after a loss, or you might get a beating) whatever names I come up with has to be Fin related. So far I have only came up with one really good one but his girl said "no way". Chics are so picky. So what I need is names that are fin related.
BTW the name I came up with was: Change their last name to Fan, make Fin his middle name, with his first name being Adolph. Adolph Fin Fan, or said quicky A-Dolphin Fan. Any ways for some reason his woman said there was NO WAY that was gonna happen so I have to come up with something else. Yeah I know that one was perfect for any kid, but try as I might, she could not be convinced. I even said I would spring for a small tat of a little square mustache on his upper lip that would come as a packaged deal, but still a no go (some people are just stubburn that way). He would have been the hit of kindagarden but oh well that one is off the board.
So what else do you have for me?? Think creative, I do have lots of influence and can probably get a good one approved.
BTW his last name is Loftis, first Michael, in case you can use part of that.

Well my baby boy's name is Cujo. He is a future LB for Miami. I promise you this.

Just be on the look for for my son Cujo in about 20 years.
 
Love the Tarzan idea, but no. You could try Finecious (pos. spellings; phinecious). would work for a guy or a girl and you can always get away with telling them it's from Greek Mythology

If it's a girl, Ivana, then she can marry a guy with the last name of Ball and become Ivana Loftis-Ball.
 
i always thought mercury was a damn cool name.

maulty is also a cool name. he was a DT on the '72 team.

there are a couple cool names of guys on the '72 team. anything but manny. (hate red sox)

Maulty?! that kind of sounds like something all our older family members drank while they stared at eachother and held hands in a 50's diner!

exactly why i mentioned it. but i was thinking more along the lines of malt liquor.

and another maulty for the maulty has a nice ring to it.

instead of "where's my 40?" it could be "where's my maulty?"

LOL...very nice...I kind of thought about Malt Liquor also, friggin lushes, I guess a 1-15 season will do that to Fins fans! ;)
 
hey, how about Finjamin? (benjamin ) or Aquanblue? um yea, think anquan boldin, or um edgerrin style name debacles....
