For those that care, a look at the domination by opposing Tight Ends on this D. Somebody forward these numbers to Pasqualoni.

Outright pathetic. Hey Pasqualoni, what's up with all the TEs averaging 20 yards a catch? Off of these numbers alone, dude should be out of a job. Up to the very last game of the season, TEs were having field days on the D. Poor scheme and poor player personnel (looking at you Gibril) were the reason. Sure, we shut out some lousy TEs from having ANY catches, but then get torn apart the next week by the same ****. 8 TEs had at least 50 yards receiving, 3 having career games.

Name a player on our roster who can cover a TE effectively when we run man coverage.

I'll wait.

he lined up Akin on Miller today...

it was obvoius that was the case so why not put CLEMONS instead of AKIN in taht spot? or JT instead of akin and rush MOSES from JTs spot? MANY ways to go about this...youjust need to brain cells to figure em' out. (meaning the coaches not you)

I'd rather have Yeremiah on a TE than friggin Ayodele. Ayodele can't do anything right, total mop.

The majority of those players were covered by our LB's which is one of the top reasons we need to upgrade the position. Its not that the scheme was bad, its that the players are to old and slow to cover them. As far as putting a saftey on them, your two rookie CB's needed all the help they could get too.

Well, true points but if that's the case why have Ayodele and Crowder? They can't cover their lunch. Even with Gibril, Shockey manhandled him all the way down the field. Clark RAN OVER Wilson. Just pathetic.

LOL i completely agree... I was about to start a thread on this as well. Akin is not a starting linebacker...We got him with Fasano for a 4th round pick... did we really think he would be that good? Him and Gibril need to be gone by next year... or atleast become backups because thats how they play... Almost every big play I have seen this year, I see Gibril or Akin trailing... huge reason we lost a couple close games (the only reason we lost to the colts)

Fully agreed. Ayodele probably wouldn't start on any other team. He's mediocre, which represents what this franchise is all about lately.

One Pro Bowl representative, shocking.

Te's kill you when

A. You have no one to match up with them...

You cant just keep playing cover 1 over the top..You will get beat deep eventually and guess what that has happend multiple times...

B. No pressure even when man D has been good we get none...Consistent anyhow...
