Final injury report vs. Bills

He's moving to the strong side now? I hadn't seen anything about that. Interesting, if true.

That is how it appears.

The Miami Dolphins will have at least one of the team's starting linebacker on the field during Sunday's road game against the Buffalo Bills.

Starting strong side linebacker Philip Wheeler, whose 119 tackles led the team last season, has been cleared to play in Sunday's game against the Bills.

Wheeler has been nursing a thumb injury for the past three weeks, and it kept him from playing in the season-opening win against the New England Patriots. Wheeler has been practicing with a cast on his right thumb for weeks and is expected to play with it against Buffalo.

Even though Wheeler is listed as probably, and has worked with the starting defense all week on a limited basis, it is unclear if he'll return to his starting role.

Ya I don't see what Walrus is getting at...he's definitely going to have an opportunity to develop there now that Ellerbe is done for the year (Jenkins), they moved Wheeler to SLB for a reason (we'll see how it works) but we'll have Wheeler (S), Trusnik (M), Jenkins (W) and I think Jenkins is going to see a lot of snaps out there.

Jenkins on the run is a concern but, not in coverage where he has looked VG.

Ah, a Blomar story. Must be why I missed it.

Thanks to all for correcting me.

At least we have the personnel to run whatever scheme we want now, and some depth. I still don't feel great with Jimmy back there as our last line of defense, especially with all of these question marks at LB, but I feel a lot better about our options with the front 7 now.
