1. Oakland Raiders- Calvin Johnson WR, Georgia Tech When push comes to shove, I just don't think Al Davis or the coaching staff want Russell. They might be forced to take him because they don't have a quality QB, but CJ might be too good to pass up.
2. Detroit Lions- Gaines Adams DE, Clemson If CJ goes number 1, Detroit will not be able to trade down so they'll take the player they covet at 2.
3. Cleveland Browns- JaMarcus Russell QB, LSU If Russell goes number 1, the pick will be Peterson (depsite the injury), if not Cleveland goes with Russell. Phil Savage and Russell have had a good relationship since Russell was in middle school so the familiarity is there.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Amobi Okoye DT, Louisville With CJ gone, Tampa will look to trade down, but no one will trade up because they know Tampa doesn't want Quinn. Tampa does love Okoye, and does need to get younger on the DL so why not take the 19 year old phenom?
5. Arizona Cardinals- Joe Thomas OT, Wisconsin I don't care how much the coaches like Levi Brown, they're not going to take him over Thomas. IMO Thomas is better than D'Brickshaw Ferguson was in last year's class, and Arizona needs OL help.
6. Washington Redskins-Allan Branch DT, Michigan The Skins will look to trade down, and they might be tempted into pairing LaRon Landry up with Shawn Taylor, but they need a run stuffer. I think Adam Carriker could be a surprise here, but Branch is the safe bet.
7. Minnesota Vikings- Adrian Peterson RB, Oklahoma It's going to be tough for our old pal Spielman to pass on getting a pass rusher, but Peterson is the best player available. Everybody already knew he was hurt. Do you really think 32 teams would not notice a collarbone injury that was reaggrevated in early January until late April? Chester Taylor is a good back, but he is not a great back. Peterson can be a great back
8. Atlanta Falcons- LaRon Landry S, LSU The Falcons are in love with Landry, and the only player that would change their mind is Peterson. Levi Brown will get some consideration, but they moved up with the soul purpose of drafting Landry.
9. Miami Dolphins- Brady Quinn QB, Notre Dame Still a bit of a stretch this will happen, but it's looking more and more likely every day.
10. Houston Texans- Levi Brown OT, Penn State Chris Spencer may never play football again, and the rest of the roster is pretty meh. The Texans get Matt Schaub the LT they never bothered to get David Carr
11. San Fransisco 49ers-Adam Carriker DE/DT, Nebraska The pick comes down to Carriker and Patrick Willis. In the end, I think Carriker wins out.
12. Buffalo Bills-Patrick Willis LB, Ole Miss Patrick Willis will not fall past Buffalo
13. St Louis Rams-Leon Hall CB, Michigan Tye Hill had a decent rookie year, but the rest of the CBs are either tweeners, or nothing but nickebacks.
14. Carolina Panthers- Jamaal Anderson DE, Arkansas Julius Peppers is one of the best DEs in the game, but Mike Rucker is on the decline. Anderson is extremely raw, but will develop into a premier DE.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers- Lawrence Timmons LB, FSU Supposedly, it's down to Timmons or Anothony Simmons. I think the Steelers go with Timmons due to his versatility
16. Green Bay Packers- Marshawn Lynch RB, Cal If the season were to start right now, The Packers would have either Vernand Morency or Noah Herron starting. They'll go RB
17. Jacksonville Jaguars-Reggie Nelson S, Florida With Deon Grant going to Seattle, and Donovan Darius a year older, the Jags get a young S they can groom.
18. Cincinatti Bengals-Greg Olsen TE, Miami FL The Benals could go several different ways, but they need to get a TE to take up the middle of the field
19. Tennessee Titans-Ted Ginn WR, Ohio State Ginn goes to a place where he'll be allowed to be strictly a return man, and a deep threat
20. New York Giants- Joe Staley OT, Central Michigan If we don't take Staley, he could fall a bit. The Giants will gladly take him though
21. Denver Broncos- Anthony Spencer DE, Purdue Denver's biggest weakness is the lack of a pass rusher. Elvis Dummerville had a respectable rookie year, but at 5'10, he's nothing more than a 3rd down pass rusher.
22. Dallas Cowboys-Robert Meachum WR, Tennessee on paper, Dallas has very few weaknesses. They do however, need to get younger at WR.
23. Kansas City Chiefs-Dwayne Bowe WR, LSU It's amazing that the Chiefs have always had a good offense with the likes of Eddie Kennison and Sammy Parker as their WRs.
24. New England Patriots (Via Seattle)- Derrelle Revis CB, PittsburghJustly or not, 2 of the top 3 CBs will fall. But the Pats won't complain. Revis can also play FS.
25. New York Jets-Chris Houston CB, Arkansas The Jets' best CB last year was Andre Dyson. They need to get a more physical CB.
26. Philadelphia Eagles- Jon Beason LB, Miami FLEven with aquiring Takeo Spikes neither he, nor Jeremiah Trotter are young guys.
27. New Orleans Saints-Eric Wright CB UNLV My first,and only, big surpise of the draft. IMO Wright will bypass Aaron Ross due to his physicality, and speed.
28. New England Patriots- Paul Posluzney LB, Penn State Poz is in a weird position. He coould go as high as 15, or he could fall to the 2nd round. His ability to play inside, and his knowledge of the game gets him the nod over David Harris
29. Baltimore Ravens-Jarvis Moss DE/OLB, Florida The Ravens live and die by their draft board. Despite other needs, they will not pass on Moss. Even though it's ot a huge need, Getting a young DE to replace Trevor Pryce should be a high priority.
30. San Diego Chargers- Michael Griffen FS, Texas Aside from WR, the only real weakness on the Chargers is safety. Griffen will fix that almost immediatly
31. Chicago Bears-Ben Grubbs OG, Auburn How highly are people starting to rate Mr. Grubbs? Teams between picks 10 and 20 are starting to seriously consider him. Grubbs could start right away for Chicago and help bolster the running game.
32. Indianapolis Colts- Justin Harrell DT, Tennessee Corey Simon is on the way out, and Montae Reagor is now an Eagle. That leaves Booger McFarland as the only quality DT. Harrell can come in and start right away

2a.Justin Blaylock OG, Texas I actually think Blaylock could not only come in and start, but be a pro bowler within his first 3 seasons.
2b.Eric Weddle S, Utah This is a pick for all you Wes Welker fans. Weddle is basically Welker on defense; just with better speed. He is a true playmaker, and is also a great return man.
3.Ikaika Alama-Francis DE, Hawaii An interesting prospect. Great athlete that is a bit of a project, but has room to grow.
4.Mario Henderson OT, FSU A project at OT, but has the frame to get bigger, and is a decent athlete.
6a.Adam Podlesh P, Maryland Believe it or not, many people believe Daniel Sapulveda (the best punter in the draft) is a first day pick. Either way, he won't make it to round 6. Podlesh may or may not. Podlesh is actually a very good athlete, I guess you can compare him to Brian Moorman. Most people won't be a fan of this pick, but it is a need.
6b.Cory Anderson FB, Tennessee We got one of the best blocking FBs in the league, but Corey is getting up there in age. So why not have Corey groom Cory?
7a.Cody Boyd TE, Washington State big TE that started one year of college. Could be a steal
7b.Stanley Doughty DT, South Carolina Interesting prospect. We might not need a DT, but you can never have enough big guys.
7c.Derek Stanley WR, Wisconsin-Whitewater Small school prospect, and is short (5'9), but is pretty quick. Could develop into a nice project
