Final Score: Dolphins v Chargers

As an aside, I really want this one. The Chargers game was probably my most disappointing from last year.

Miami didn't have any answers for Herbert, who played great. I think we'll see a much better defensive approach.

I believe the run game will show up big.

first half miami didnt, but 2nd half he only got 6 points vs miamis defense. it was miams pathetic offense that lost the game

I respectfully disagree.
Last year was last year, this is a different year.

Are the Chargers an improved team over last year? I don't think so.
If they are, have they improved as much as we have? Not a chance in hell!

Were the Chargers playing their first season NFL game under a new HC last year when they played us? I don't know.
Were we playing under a new HC in his first NFL game with the Dolphins? Absolutely.

As I see it, we are a much-improved team playing the second year under a first time HC who did wonders with the Dolphins last year, especially considering the massive injuries we had with key players and using scrubs for replacements.

I truly do not believe the Chargers have much of a chance against this year's Dolphins team. That's the good news.

We can expect another two players who are among the best in the league at their positions that will be coming back to the team as the season unrolls. This means we will be putting an even better team on the field as the year progresses. That's even better news.

I just cannot see holding on to the negatives of the past while totally ignoring the positives from the past and failing to see the positive progress we have made in becoming a well-balanced, effective team this year.

I hope you find yourself coming into agreement with me as the season progresses because that would mean - I'm Right again. - LOL

I think this year's well-balanced team with a greatly improved Defense and a stronger, better balanced (running & passing) Offence with a much-improved OL will embarrass a lot of our opponents, starting with the Chargers.

I had completely forgotten that McDaniel didn't start coaching the Dolphins until our 13th game last season!
