FINAL SCORE: Dolphins V Ravens (week 2)

I originally predicted a 28-27 Dolphins win, but seeing the injury lists come out and hearing some other good news has me thinking we win by a wider margin.

Phins 23 Ravens 20. I think Baltimore’s running game keeps it close, including Lamar breaking a few long ones but Miami pulls it out.

I'm with ya. 27-17 Fins. I just dont think Ravens are as good as everyone is making them out to be! Conversely, most are underestimating Fins!
It's that "MVP leeway" compared to, "what have you done for me lately." Inescapable from the media.

Not feeling terribly confident about this game, unless Lamar has some bad takeout the night before and has to run off the field to poop again. Ravens 24-14*.

*I reserve the right to be catastrophically wrong.

Speaking from experience? - LOL

I'm not confident about Miami's chances on the road, against a team that has been very physical with them over the years.

Miami is without Jackson at RT and his replacement is hobbled. Armstead is also hobbling at LT, which may give the Ravens a big advantage.

Miami's speed at WR should give Baltimore fits, if Miami's backup tackles perform adequately.
Didn't we beat them last year without our fielding as good a team as we have this year and a much more limited coaching staff?

What's the basis for your lack of Confidence?

Lack of confidence comes from several key factors.

1) It's a road game.

2) Miami may be without both starting Tackles. If this turns out to be the case, I'd expect Baltimore to expose Miami's Backup Tackles, as the game goes on.

3) Baltimore has always been the more physical team. Seemingly running rough shod over Miami.

4) While I'm not a fan of Lamar, he still is dangerous with how mobile he is.

5) Miami is missing a key player at CB in Jones. He has helped Miami master the zero cover scheme. While the Dolphins played well against the Patriots last week without Jones, it may not play out as positive this week against the Ravens.

I notice that you have totally ignored the Ravens high level of multiple injuries at critical position.

Why?

Certainly, that will limit the level they can play at!

I know they are dealing with injuries. I'm just not as confident Miami will be able to hold back the pressure Baltimore should be able to apply on Tua, to disrupt Miami passing game.

As compared to what?
Our ability to complete passes to "uncoverable" receivers?
