Final Score: Dolphins vs Colts

I can't believe some of the scores im seeing on here especially us winning. I can't remember the last time we beat the colts, maybe back in that playoff game where lamar smith scored that touchdown in overtime. I live in Indy, and I would like nothing better than to throw it in the colts bandwagon fans, but honestly, I don't see us winning this game. I really hope I am wrong, but it always seems we are driving the ball down in the waning seconds of the 4th quarter and always lose throwing it in the endzone. I mean that has happened the last 4 or 5 times we have played them, does anyone else remember this? Anyway, my final score is colts 31, dolphins 27. I really, really hope I eat these words.

There are some conflicting trends here. A young team with a second year coach and quarterback figures to get a boost of confidence after a win like last week. However, a road game after a victory is generally a negative scenario. Teams have higher intensity level on the road after a defeat. Very difficult to play a complete defensive game on the road following a victory.
How about starting the season with two home favorite games? I'd have to think that if the first of those games is a win, some complacency would ensue in the second one. You're basically sitting around "the house" for two weeks in a row, with none of the motivation associated with the challenge of superior opponent.

23-20 Fins.

Yeah, Luck is the real deal, but as one of the guys on the radio pointed out this afternoon, still, last season they had a minus 30pt scoring differential against the weakest schedule in the league.

So it's easy to anoint Luck and Wayne as the preemptive rainmakers, but the counterpoint to that: are there any defenders still in their prime on their team in the same stratosphere as Wake, Rashad Jones, Soliai, Starks and possibly even Grimes? Tannehill held his own against him too

That minus 30 thing is very odd. Mostly because we won so many squeakers last season by 3 or so points, but had 2 fifty burgers dropped on us, and one or two 14ish losses. Truly remarkable.

As for the defensive players, our only overly aging ones are Mathis, Redding, and Bethea. Everyone else is late twenties off the top of my head. I don't expect you to know much of our D, but simply put outside of Wake we match up about the same with ya'lls D.

i still dont trust the secondary and if dimitri is not playing, it will be bad as the colts wr's are NOT the browns.

and luck is not weeden.

as much as i hate to, COLTS: 27 FINZ: 20.
